Dined with twelve other family members, most British some Australian. The quality of the food is top class, service is top class and portions are generous. Wine is expensive but to be expected in such a quality restaurant. It did get a little warm during the evening and the dress code various dramatically from Ozzies wearing scruffy shorts, t shirt...

I took my 92 year old father here for lunch which we enjoyed under the trees outside. Gorgeous setting in one of Western Australia's most historic hotels in the heritage listed town of Guildford. The food was exceptional! Wait staff very attentive and friendly. Grounds are flat with no stairs, so very easy for an old-timer to negotiate. We will...

A fantastic setting in historic Guildford. The food is fantastic whether you enjoy a casual snack at the bar or the restaurant. A good selection from an extensive menu. The outdoor dining is great for kids as well. Definitely worth a visit or maybe a rest from the extensive wineries of the Swan Valley.

I met our daughter here for breakfast mid week! Actually we had planned to go somewhere else, but they were closed until next week on a well earned Christmas break....so we decided on the spur of the moment to go into the Rose and Crown. No regrets. We were shown into the dining area ..white table cloths...and given their menu....

We sat outside under a tree and even though the temperature was 38 degrees we were comfortable. We enjoyed pizzas and found them very tasty. The service was good as was the atmosphere. A very popular place but also very big and sprawled out.

You almost feel you are in a time warp, the old dining room feels unchanged from over a century ago. The one waitress coped really well with a very full room before management came in to help. Coffee was good and breakfast was spot on.

The experience today at the rose and crown was a debacle, almost 3 hours from the time we arrived to the time we got our food was a disgrace. The owner had problems in recognising he was understaffed and wasn't prepared to accept his error, guess what, I won't be back even if I've loved the place for years,it used...

Exorcists: Your services are needed in Room 15! At 3am I was thrust into the land of living by my main room light coming on and the fan speeding from 'slow' to 'take-off'!
