Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A cabin that's practical and affordable in a caravan park. We found this place far beyond our expectation. It's close to Berry Springs and might be the best choice for a budget accommodation in that area. I like the location and the convenience to everything: petrol station, restaurants, and IGA etc. The aircon works fine. Comfy bed. Hot water. Clean toilet. TV is small but we only had it on as background music. No wifi but we have data to use on our phones. Staff and other residents are all very friendly. It feels like home after two nights stay. We borrowed pool noodles for our trip to Berry Springs and Litchfield. Highly recommend the Berry Springs Tavern, which is only 2 minutes away.

Excellent value in converted container with ensuite air con kitchen and double bed. Very clean, value price.
We arrived at 7pm straight off our flight, picked up our hire car and arrived at Berry Springs. Very nice friendly family owners.
We had dinner sitting on the homestead balcony restaurant which is lit up with fairy lights and is relaxing on a hot summer night.
Barramundi with salad and chips and a beer/wine was perfect. We were away without fuss in the morning.
We did another overnighter after our Kakadu jaunt and enjoyed a great traditional Aussie Sunday night roast.
Thanks Berry Springs. we loved the experience.

My ensuite van room was $74, not much more than a powered van site. So my expectations were realistic and definitely met. Comfortable double bed, cold air-con, little fridge, plenty of storage and a tiny ensuite. And TV, which I didn't use. Everything clean and working. Perfect if you are out all day and just need somewhere to crash. Cons - no room to sit inside, except on the bed; also van shakes slightly when people enter the adjacent room (the accommodation is an on-site van divided into two rooms).

We stayed here (May 2021) because it is close to Berry Springs park & Berry Springs Tavern, which both were visited in previous years and loved.
This place is a little dated.. however, I loved it. Very peaceful, quiet place. We had a queen room which is small but exactly what we needed. The room was nice & cold upon arrival & spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, pillows & linen. We had a fridge, kettle & toaster in our room, cute little table & chair set out the front.
The exterior amenties seemed quite nice & clean from what we saw.
Pool was bloody fabulous
Management were very lovely & couldn’t do enough to help.
Would definitely stay at again if we are ever back up in the NT 👌🏼

Seriously, find out for yourself and be amazed. Inread the reviews before I booked and again before we arrived. Some people! We stayed in our Transporter van. Under the shade of the large trees. We had access to power, water, and bathrooms. Perfect. Now some other reviewers mentioned oh tjere is a bar and you can eat there if you want that. I am telling you to WANT that. Happy hour, $5, select drinks. The meals cooked by the managers, bloody good. We drove around to a few pubs today who had chefs and whatnot, and the dinner we had last night, a simple burger and barra and chips, beat them all. There is a pool, 2 camp kichens and lots of shade. There are sites that have dirt, hello, where are we? Grass is the excellent exception. Live music as well. The location is minutes from Berry Springs pools and the Wildlife park. We drive 18 minutes to Humpty Do. Come and stay and park your bias at the door and experience everything that is on offer here, starting with the great management team.

We stayed at The Lakes Resort for 3 months while I was Working For Accomodation and Hubby was Working in town. the park has such a relaxed and welcoming environment and I honestly couldn't recommend it enough! Having never been to Berry Springs before, this Park was the best accommodation for my 9 day stay. A lovely big Park with lots of trees and various stay options. My van had everything l needed. Fridge TV Aircon Bathroom and a real comfy big bed. Liz and Jim are the fabulous owners of this place and are very knowledgeable and helpful about everything. Clair is a most delightful young lady who also works there doing all thing needed to be done. There's a pool if you want to go swimming too. l totally recommend anyone to stay here for any length of time. Thanks for having me on board!

Hello Happy Travelers, some vannies we've spoken to referred to this place as the last resort, not lakes resort, which it may or may not be, the front half of the park has great shady grassed sites, in the rear half the sites have patchy shade & no grass there's also 20 plus workers shipping container style cabins, with a camp kitchen & amenities block that need some real TLC. There is also an onsite cafe that does a good Sunday Roast. So flip a coin. Bon Voyage.

We were looking for a place for a couple of nights before heading into Darwin amd decided to try here. Reviews were mixed but we were pleasantly surprised. Such a quiet and peaceful place with beautiful lawns and plenty of shade. Bathrooms are older but clean and absolutely fine. They were short of staff like nearly everywhere at the moment but really friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

A very nice and quiet place to stay. Just down the road from the Berry Springs shopping centre and the Berry Springs Tavern. And then not far from Darwin and suburbs. A great place to stay. Also the have great food, so you don't have to go anywhere.
