We booked our stay here months in advance through booking.com but unfortunately Sharon was not aware of the booking. Luckily we rang ahead to confirm and Sharon was extremely accommodating in making sure the property was ready for our arrival. We were given a warm welcome and a tour of the property on arrival. Basic breakfast provisions were provided. The... More

We arrived at Misty Mountains to be greeted by Sharon, who is incredibly warm, kind, helpful and friendly. She took us to our room which was in a private garden area set in the rainforest. Talk about beautiful- the fresh scent of the rainforest and the lush greenery. At night private pathways to a river and giant fig tree are... More

We stayed at this magnificent place for several days and really enjoyed tranquility, having the well maintained and luxurious area for ourselves (loved the pool and daybed) being surrounded by tropical rainforest. The Misty Mountains Rainforest Retreat is a perfect starting point for day tours around the Tableland where we visited Josephine Falls and had fun on the naturel waterslide... More

This private villa is a beautiful spot tucked away within the rain forest. We were so amazed by its beauty and tranquility. We enjoyed having the villa and the grounds all to ourselves, including the pool and spa. There was a golf cart for personal use to go and explore the beautiful rain forest around. A beautiful place to enjoy... More

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in this peaceful and private paradise. The whole villa with it's well maintained grounds was available to us, with our own private pool and spa. There was also a golf cart for our personal use to take the short drive through the rainforest to enjoy the pristine waters of a nearby running creek. We were... More

Far North Queensland is one of the most beautiful places on earth and Misty Mountains Retreat was a magical place to stay and enjoy the beauty! We recently stayed at Misty Mountains for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! We really liked that we were the only people staying there and that it was away from the tourists. While we did do a few day trips, we could have easily stayed there the whole time! Sharon and Sue were very lovely and accommodating and sincerely want... More
