We stayed at the lambourne cottage on 4/2/17, it was a lovely spacious clean and cosy cottage, we only stayed one day but it would be perfect for a weeks break. It had lovely views out towards the sea and of the castle itself. It had 2 double bed rooms and 1 with twin bed. The kitchen was equipped with...

We first saw of these cottages on Groupon and booked a really good deal. We had a lovely time and have since been back 3 times to stay in the same cottage which I think is called Pineapple. It's warm, cosy and very clean. Can't fault a thing. Gareth was extra helpful once when we wanted to book in very...

Stayed in Lambourne Cottage with friends attending a wedding in Lympne Castle. Accommodation was really spacious, all rooms a really good size. The lounge overlooked the castle, and the quality of furnishings / maintenance etc was good. Especially like the bathroom. Very enjoyable stay.

4 of us stayed in "The Gatehouse". Historic comfortable cottage with a lovely courtyard garden. Peaceful atmosphere, comfortable beds, a good shower in a glorious situation.....all you need for a relaxing couple of days! Thoroughly recommend this accomodation and would definitely return for another stay.

We attended a wedding at the castle last week not having known of the property or village beforehand. We were pleasantly surprised at everything! We were warmly welcomed and all the staff members tending to the wedding were lovely and very helpful. The food was delicious, drink prices competitive and the setting was simply stunning. The views and gardens made...

We stayed here on a Groupon deal and the area is delightful. We are avid cyclists & this is a great area with plenty of cycle paths. Also if you're a walker, there are ample signed footpaths. We stayed in 'Pineapple' cottage which is advertised as a cottage for 4 people. There were a few little niggles with the property...

It was off to the civil wedding of a relative to the hitherto unknown Lympne Castle. It was quite easy to find from the M20 and we were very impressed with the great house and views out towards the coast. we were welcomed with a slpedid open fire in the reception area and the impressive main hall was something out...

We booked all the cottages, gatehouse, pineapple, pinkie hill and Lambourne for two nights for our wedding. I stayed in pineapple, and there are doves outside the master bedrooms window, but it is calming not at all disturbing! Trust me, I am a light sleeper. Friends stayed in all the other cottages and all enjoyed their stay! One thing I...

Stayed in Gatekeepers Cottage, very nicely converted and maintained. Lovely location with nice walks, a Bistro and a pub nearby. Good location for touring around the area e.g. Rye, Dungeness, Winchelsea. Only negative was that the TV/Freeview were not easy to use and needed setting up.

Booked all four cottages for the two nights before and after my daughters wedding. Great fun exploring them all and comparing them. Gatehouse sleeps 4, has a garden and outdoor seating and is full of character. Pineapple also sleeps 4 and has a very spacious master bedroom. There was no problem with the doves, just added to the charm. Pinkie...
