Great week last week at Charlton Lake Camp! Could've been a bit warmer....but nothing could ruin the tranquility of this camp! Good fishing and enjoyed the hammocks! It was my nieces first time visiting and she is already planning her trip for next year!

I think your visit was as much fun for us as we hope it was for you. Weather aside, we're glad you made the decision to make the drive from Ohio. We're looking forward to seeing you this winter and hopefully back on the lake in 2015 as well. Bentley says to tell Baby hello!

My wife and I stayed at CLC for the July 19th weekend, our first time. We stayed one night in cottage #4(note to self:receives wifi signal), which we had pre-booked, and then were fortunate to stay another night, in cabin #9(note to self:no wifi signal). Loved both cabins. Quiet and good nights sleep. An excellent experience for us and fantastic...

We hadn't been back to Charlton Lake Camp since 1987 and we were excited to visit again from June 12th-19th 2014. We stayed in cabin #6, Wolf's Den. Much of the camp was just as we remembered, but all the upgrades made it even better. Can't wait to stay again in a cabin with the metal roof and listen to...

We're so glad that we've managed to provide you with "new" old memories. Having worked at the camp as a teenager, I've worked to maintain the "warm feelings" I remember about the camp. The WiFi is a challenge as the only thing available to us is phone line DSL. Cottages closest to the main lodge can get the WiFi within...

My wife and I stayed at Charlton Lake Camp for Canada Day long weekend. We visited this area before but this was our first stay at this camp. We had a great experience! We stayed at the Loon's Nest (1 bedroom) cottage. The cottage was impeccably clean and had everything one needs for a nature retreat - a comfortable bed,...

We had a great relaxing vacation, this is a real summer cottage experience not fancy but the cottage was very clean and had what you needed to make your stay a comfortable one, mattress was not bad as well. There is a short boat ride over to the cottage area so all your belongings have to be brought over by...

We've been away from the camp for several years but it was great getting back and everything we remembered. Although Lori and Mark are new owners to us, we appreciated their hospitality, particularly the freshly baked cookies! We could only get away for a quiet weekend and the weather didn't really cooperate, (nor did the local Hydro utility), but all...

Fall is such a beautiful time of year up here, and while Mother Nature didn't fully cooperate, the scenery is so wonderful and the fishing was still good so I'm not surprised that you enjoyed yourself. I hear you about the Hydro, but at least they gave us a "heads up" so as not to surprise you by waking up...

I have had the pleasure of being a guest at Charlton Lake Camp twice this year. Once in the spring for a getaway with friends and again this fall for my company staff retreat. The camp is nestled among the pines and has rustic yet cozy & clean cottages with all the amenities to make for a very comfortable stay....

Thank you for your kind words! We've done family reunions and church retreats before, but this was our first (and hopefully) not last corporate retreat. It was a pleasure to be your host!

My husband and i stayed at the camp mid to late Sept 2013. The cottage was very well stocked, had many little things (extras) that made it a comfy home for our stay. The screened in porch was very nice. There is a communal fire pit that is prepared daily with some wood to burn. The host was very helpful...

Our family made its first trip to Charlton Lake Camp this summer and we all had a great time. The cabins were clean and well maintained. They were well situated near the water with great views under trees that kept the camp protected from the heat. The swim area accommodated both small children and adults. We made use of the...
