Unbelievable hotel! The staff makes this place feel like home! We stayed for 4 nights after coming from Seminyak and we were totally mind blown with the level of hospitality received from the staff and hotel. It was our anniversary and they gave complimentary flower bath which my wife absolutely loved. I also paid for their decorations prior to arrival and they really went above and beyond. We had breakfast included but we were so busy with excursions and always getting up a little late, they sent it to our room in the morning!! So grateful. On my 3rd night I was feeling really unwell they called a doctor for me straight away they escorted them to my room and they were very professional, health checks etc and provided all types of medication to ensure speedy recovery, which came at a cost but reimbursed with my travel insurance. I was amazed how they kept ringing our room making sure I was okay even delivering a porridge and cookies!
Pros: - Ambience and vibes (live singing in restaurant amazing) - Pool with bean bags is awesome - Location is top tier close to all good restaurants and shuttle bus into city is a gem! - Best staff!!!! - Breakfast was great, always opted for Omelette

I came here for a short escape from work and wanted a place that allows me to rest fully and comfortably. It meets my intention and exceeds my expectation. I am more relaxed and happier at the end of the trip than I first came. Their photos on the website are true in real life and trust worthy with 0 discrepancy.
I initially wanted to book a forest villa but this place is good enough. Not so much of surrounding nature, but still very serene and a short distance from Ubud city which makes day out easy. If I choose a forest villa, it may be very long to city. There’s a good yoga place - Alchemy, next door to this resort which is an excellent choice to drop by if you are looking for activities to do.
Everything you could think of is exceptional over here, from bedding, food, environment, service to people. Cleanliness is a big plus, they have this ‘night ritual’ which dims your light and tidy your room to prep you to sleep when you return to your room at night. I would love my room to be scented too but i am not aware of such option, maybe the resort may want to take this into consideration as a simple aromatherapy for the sleep. Any other things are great. I love our balcony that faces the pool and I brought my meals to eat there.
I could only take down names of receptionists due to time like Tini Ari Chrisna Dedi , they did a wonderful job to make our stay very safe and welcoming whenever we are back from the outside. Not to forget, the security guard too! He diligently checked all vehicles that were going to enter the compound, and I feel very safe under his hands. The restaurant staff are very smiley everyday and even gave us a room call to ask whether we are going out for breakfast because we woke up late that day. I feel pampered under their care. I love it that their breakfast opens until 11am or even past a little, suitable for people like us who lodge to chill and do not want to set alarm to wake up.
Kudo to a receptionist- probably Dedi(?) not sure of the name on duty. He asked my friend for her whereabout when she’s going out at night to collect grab food and allowed the grab delivery to enter instead of letting my friend out. This shows so much emphasis on making sure she is safe and is a very kind gesture of him. I genuinely thank everyone there for their services and I had an extremely wonderful stay. They should get a pay raise.

It is not a frequent occasion that I find myself writing reviews but I could not let my stay at The Hava go without commendation. This place is an absolute paradise right outside of Ubud town centre – I stayed here as a solo traveller for two weeks in March/April and would recommend it to all types of holiday makers. It is out of the way and serene without feeling isolated, as there are still several cafés and other establishments nearby. The hotel also runs a regular shuttle bus for the 10 minute journey into town. The room is always well stocked with beautifully scented toiletries and is serviced twice a day, including delicious cookies in the evening! I also appreciate that the mini bar has a selection of snacks without the extortionate ‘mini bar prices’ that you may find in other hotels. The restaurant and bar have a vast selection of both traditional Asian and Western foods that were all delicious and beautifully plated, and the extensive drinks list was highly appreciated by a cocktail aficionado like myself! The pool area is also beautiful with greenery and traditional architecture – it blends wonderfully with the modern look of the rooms. Most of all, the customer service is impeccable and unrivalled by any hotel I’ve ever stayed at before. Every single member of staff here has such amazing attention to detail and it is obvious that they really enjoy working there. I even had one of the lovely waitresses, Septi, write me a handwritten note thanking me at the end of my stay. This was such a wonderful touch and brought a big smile to my face. They really do treat you like royalty and I could never thank the team enough for any of this. Even though I was staying alone, I did not feel lonely for a single second as I was always surrounded by their friendly faces. If you are looking for a hotel in Ubud look no further but book in this property. It is 2 km from the center but you are completely immersed in nature. The hotel offers a free shuttle service but we always opted for scooters with grabs (as seen the terrible traffic is the fastest way to move). In the hotel there is also a spa where we tried a foot massage (GOOD girls but higher prices than other beauty centers). I would recommend with flying colors the structure, trust you can not find better in Ubud. Ps: the only slightly negative note, not if in all rooms or it was a problem only in ours but we found a smell of humidity quite strong, perhaps due to the proximity to the pool? We stayed here for 10 nights with our 20 month old. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the cot they provided was in excellent condition. Housekeeping were great - we needed a few sheets changed with our little one being sick during the night and they came within minutes, leaving us extra towels and sheets at our request. The food was delicious. I can honestly say that I looked forward to breakfast each morning. We liked that they rotated their breakfast menu on top of having a cold food buffet. Their lunch and dinner menu had enough variety without it being too limiting, or too many options. The staff were absolutely phenomenal! From remembering our coffee preferences, to checking in on us when we weren’t well, to playing and engaging with our daughter. We could not fault them and they really do make The Hava feel like home.

Lovely hotel close to main shopping area. Free shuttle to Monkey Forest and main shopping precinct. The rooms were a really good size and no request for more towels, water, pillows etc was too much. The staff were our highlight, so friendly and helpful. Ayu, Septi, Rai, made our stay so pleasant. Reception, Housekeeping guys, bar staff and kitchen staff fantastic. The setting was calm and restful with a beautiful pool and garden in the midst of a busy busy precinct. I stayed at Hava in Ubud for 8 days. The customer service was absolutely excellent and the staff go out of their way to assist you in every way possible. Eka/Eki, one of the staff members there, was especially helpful and made us feel right at home.
The staff again are excellent, the facilities are good and the food is decent. The rooms might be considered slightly small, but they are well maintained with house keeping attending twice a day and always on request. The buffet breakfast is decent too, if a little basic.
The only issues I had were the rooms are a bit loud due to thin walls and there is sometimes bad odours in the outdoor area of the hotel. Granted the noise didn't affect my sleep and the odor is a Bali wide issue and not just at the hotel.
I would recommend the hotel.
I must stress again, the staff are incredible.

Room is excellent and clean and super comfy bed and pillows. Soft sheets! Bottled water provided for free in rooms and mini bar is charged accordingly(pricelist in room)
The breakfast was the same everyday, pretty boring, I didn’t even go down for breakfast on the day.
Portion sizes in the restaurant are quite small. So if you’re really hungry I wouldn’t recommend room service/restaurant.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with fluffy pillows that made for a perfect night's sleep. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help with anything I needed, adding a personal touch to the experience.
