From the moment we arrived mid afternoon on Maundy Thursday everything was great. After a rest a game drive through the estate (just herbivores but including three giraffe) ending with a sundowner in the bush by a fire made by our guide. All very tAme but excellent if like us you have a baby on board or other reason not...

This was my third stay at Inn on Ruparara over a period of ten years. I was unsure what to expect given the prevailing circumstances in Zimbabwe and the impact they have had on tourism in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe. I was very pleasantly surprised and would not hesitate to recommend the Inn on Ruparara to visitors heading up...

I travelled back to Zimbabwe after 18 years away and was a bit uncertain of what hotels would be like. I booked into Inn on Ruparara and travelled the potholed road to Juliasdale/Inyanga from Harare, arriving at the Inn tired and a bit jaded. My family and I were very warmly welcomed by the gate security staff member who has...

We called in to Inn on Ruparara for an extra couple of nights following a wedding nearby. The Inn is hidden along a 4x4 suitable road but once you arrive is truly a great little hotel. We enjoyed the service, the rooms, the food and the activities. Like many places in the Eastern Highlands there would always be a case...

My family and I had a wonderful weekend getaway to Inn on the Ruparara. Very reasonably priced, beautiful location, lovely rooms, food, and outstanding service. The roads were quite rough to get there but it was definitely worth it. Horse riding there is very good and definitely worth a try. The wifi doesn't have the best range there and there...

It was a lovely surprise to arrive at such a beautiful spot. Tucked away about 10 minutes off the main road. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms clean, spacious, great views (saw a zebra from my balcony) and very comfortable. The best bed I had slept in during the whole of my trip! The food was...

This is a lovely Inn. The rooms are beautifully furnished, well-maintained and clean. The food is delicious (three course dinner) and a silver-service experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and Charles the manager is friendly, knowledgeable and informative. And don't forget to talk to Tom the cat - he's usually hanging around the reception area. Some activities are available...

I haven't stayed at Ruparara for about 15 years, and was pleasantly surprised to find during my stay mid October, that it is as good as it ever has been. Furnishings in good order and the whole place spotlessly clean. The staff are warm and friendly, and the manager, Charles, extremely informative and helpful. Food was excellent and very reasonably...

We stayed for night mid week at the Inn on Ruparara, it was a real treat, they were relatively quiet though understand that the weekends get busy. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. Sundowners on the veranda and the Msasa trees changing colour at this time of the year were highlights for us. A great venue with open...
