This experience will blow you away, and you will be richly rewarded for taking the initiative to visit the Ukutula Animal Sanctuary. Whether or not you stay overnight, you must include this interactive and educational venue in your itinerary. We were amazed at every minute of the experience, and this was after two spectacular days of game drives. Don't be...

We stayed 2 nights at the very spacious and luxurious Cornwallis Leadwood Lodge 10 sleeper - self-catering in 5 Star surroundings slightly away from the main lodge facilities...a mini game drive was included each time we were shuttled back & forth....Wow - what a fantastic experience - we had family from overseas and this trip ticked all their boxes -...

We came to Ukutula on the advice of many friends, and we were not disappointed. The accommodation was comfortable although the mezzanine was warm at night (daytime temp was 35 deg). The bedroom has AC but we gave that to our friends. It was amazing to hear the lions roaring while we had our braai outside our lodge in the...

What a trip, well when else would you get to experience big cats so close up. A pleasant lunch followed by introductions to lion cubs & cheetahs then a tour of the new research facility - ok at first we weren't too keen on seeing big cats behind mesh but keep an open mind, the work underway is essential to...

Lovely room and great value for money. Food excellent but we were not offered a choice on arrival so as my wife was not a great fan of meat, this was disappointing.. check in was rushed and to be fair a bit of a shambles Staff are so accommodating and whatever you want they get for you. Imagine on your...

Love, love, love! 5 of us stayed in one of the self catering houses for 1 night and it was amazing. The house was very spacious and clean. And the kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking in our room. You can hear the lions roaring in the evening and mornings. Such a unique experience! The staff was amazing - helpful,...

Great place where you can have the unique experience of walking with the lions which is amazing or holding, feeding a lion cub. Sleeping over even more special, to hear the lions roaring close by. Exceptionally delicious food at the cozy restaurant. Good place to take oversees visitors to, or a good family outing. This is really very special and...

We stayed for two nights in one of the self-catering cottages. Service was excellent. Interactions with the lions, tigers, cheetahs and hyenas is an experience we will never forget. WiFi was good. Swimming pool, cottage and facilities in general was top notch. Highly recommend.

We had heard about Ukutula from friends and it lived up to everything we had heard and so much more. The first thing that strikes you is how well maintained and tidy everything is and then to be greeted by extremely friendly and professional staff, you know its going to be good. Our guides were brilliant, they were extremely knowledgable...

Restaurant charges ridiculous prices for meals. No menu available and only had a choice between either steak or chicken. The kitchen/restaurant has to be notified hours in advance of your intention to have a meal. The bar does not fare much better. Disappointed to say the least.

Thank Andre O
