The hotel is a little off the beaten path so maybe not ideal for an overnight stay. The manager was most welcoming (even though he did not speak English!). The rooms are basic but clean, the bathrooms very modern. The views from the rear of the hotel are spectacular. Neither the sunset nor sunrise disappointed, As the prepares and cooks all the meals himself, it would be better if the hotel had more of a limited menu. My chicken was OK but my partner's lamb dish was pretty awful. There was an excellent choice of wines available at great prices. Breakfast the next morning more than made up for our dinner disappointment with fresh orange juice, good strong, fresh coffee and an array of cold meats and cheeses. A cooked breakfast was also included.
Came to the restaurant with some Australian friends. Food was exquisite, Cinto's paella is a must. The house and surrounding area is beautiful. The staff was super helful, and very flexible to our requests. I definitely recommend it!
Very nice place, it has the appearance of a small castle and a magnificent interior (including a small chapel).Large and clean rooms. Very friendly owner who prepared great breakfast each day! Great view. It can be a bit cold during this time of the year.
Two nights were not enough at this phenomenal country house situated perfectly for touring all over the Osona region of Catalonia. The room and the view from our terrace, perfect. The swimming pool, awesome. The incredible Senor Cinto made dinner for us both nights, a sensational traditional seafood paella the first night; the second night noodles replaced rice in a similar dish. Senor Cinto also repeatedly served us cava (regional champagne), on the house, and was pretty much the most thoughtful, warm and engaging host you could ever hope for. A steal at the price we paid — I’d have paid a lot more — and the meals were two of the best we had in Spain and France and pretty close to the least expensive. (He also just kept bringing food; we never had to ask.) The 19th-century home has the most striking entrance hall, and even a chapel off the hall. Simply amazing place. Gracias Senor Cinto!…
Thanks in large part to Senor Cinto, our two nights at the villa were the highlight of our nine day trip to Spain. The villa itself was magnificent--spotlessly clean, quietly situated, amenity filled. As for Senor Cinto, he was the absolute perfect host. He attended to our every need, from ensuring we were comfortable to preparing whatever meal we requested. Every request we made or question we had was met with a thoughtful, courteous response. He and the villa are two gems not to be missed in your travel to Spain.
