This is my local, I drink here all the time. It's a great place, local live music and fireplace going in winter. I'm inclined to write this review though because of my experiences with the vegan meals offered, to spare any other vegans a disappointing meal. I really appreciated them adding 2 options (I'm used to only having hot chips to eat at pubs), vegan nachos and vegan salad. The nachos are pretty inconsistent. Sometimes the beans are very sweet, or very smoky. My vegetarian partner gets guac and sour cream with his, the vegan option doesn't have either (costs $4 more though, I'm guessing due to the vegan cheese). A few times it's come out burnt too.
I've been disappointed enough with the nachos so last night I tried the salad, and it actually made me laugh a lot. The vegan "salad" consists of potato wedges, semi dried tomatoes, cooked carrots and broccoli so overcooked it was no longer a solid. I don't know exactly what constitutes a salad, but mushy vegetables all tossed together with wedges wasn't what I was expecting. Will stick with hot chips in this case.

Called in for dinner before a show. It was a Monday evening, how lucky where we - buy one main meal get another free. Absolute bargain. The food was delicious we both had the chicken on the bbq with chips and salad. Generous serve and tasted yummy. Such a nice outdoor area to sit on a balmy evening. Wine list ok as well. Enjoyed our time and will return.

We had a great time with frindds at the birthday party. The staff were great and the Pizza were good.
The room was as discribed. Did not enjoy the 5.25 false fire alarm. No one turned up so after 15 minutes we went back to bed.

The eating upstairs was fantastic and the fire place was perfect. We both had a glass of the house red and shared a half and half pizza (The pizzas are huge) with a glorious pear salad. The pizza was the best I have ever eaten and was perfect in every way from the fabulous blend of flavours to that oh so amazing crust. The tomato base was extraordinary which is an amazing achievement because the base isn't even something I usually notice but this was a wow in my mouth . The flavours were complex and yet so well balanced and delicious . If there was a prize for the best Pizza , they deserve it ! It really was the pizza experience I've always wanted !

This was a lovely afternoon enjoying fabulous pub food in a gorgeous outdoor area. It was covered and the atmosphere was great. So enjoyable and relaxing. We had a great early dinner before seeing a show nearby. Definitely recommend this place. The staff are warm and friendly. Great menu for pub food . We definitely enjoyed our afternoon at this place.

Expensive for pub meals, and don't need the huge mountains of fried chips. So many of the major menu items had run out at 7.30 pm and the staff clearly wanted to close up and go home. All in all, a waste of time and money.

The Deck Italian Restaurant located on Levl 2.
The tomato Bruschetta was perfect and the 4 pizza toppings we had on 2 Pizzas were beyond perfect. Couldn't recommend more highly. A true example of where paying a bit more is worth it.

Well what can I say but that my experience for dinner in every way was bad my the very beginning. The lady that took my order was very rude and the meal over priced for what I got and even when I picked up my order she was even rude.

Ok - not great. Simple menu that was a bit pricy considering the meals. Surprised to order tofu burgers that had no tofu. Used frozen packet Vegie patties - but they worked for tonight. Young bloke working looked like he was doing his best with what he had been given. Ok if your starving & want a draught beer.
