We were welcomed by Tasos who said "let me show you our pool" and i actually believed him, naive as i am! :D Well, the hotel is built almost on the crystal clear water, so the sea does feel like a private pool. Breakfast was super tasty, served on the terrace with an amazing view of the sea. The room...

My fiancé and I went to Pirgos for 2 nights, 3 days straight after 5 days of partying in Mykonos! With the new and improved roads/highways it is very easy to find and get to (about 3.5hrs with a few short stops). The building itself is beautiful and feels like you are locked away in your own private water front...

Everything about this hotel is stunning. It is a beautifully restored historical building in a wonderful location. The owner and his staff are exceptional - they go out of their way to ensure that you are happy (special thanks to the brilliant Anastasia). After your first swim of the morning you can enjoy the freshly prepared Greek style breakfast and...

Rude and provocative owner keeping the hotel liked 11 am and saying you arrived too early if you don't like me go somewhere else 2 hours from kalamata airport in the middle of nowhere for tourists with 4 months prebooked room he wanted us to pay extra helping to transfer to the original mavrihali's house which is 200 m away!

Wonderful restored tower-house/castle, something about the place makes you feel quite special. Very friendly staff. Sakis ( the owner ) even looks like his illustrious ancestor Petrobey Mavromichalis, a real Greek hero, who's statue you can see in the main square of Areopoli. We will be back. Thanks to Sakis and his staff from Deb and Dave

Nestled into the corner of the village on the bay of Limeni, is the beautifully restored home of this historic family. Sakis (owner) and his team provided us a wonderful welcome. We had driven from Nafplio and temperatures had hit 40 degrees en-route. Access to the stunning ocean is down through the hotel out of a private gate. You then...

When you are staying in front of the blue sea and you can enjoy the beautiful sunset every evening I think there is nothing more to ask...and if you want to swim ...you only have to take some stairs to reach the sea...traditional Greek breakfast and an excellent host... if they resolve some WiFi issues then I think there will...

If you don't stay here you will regret it. The owner, Sakis, loves hosting visitors and sharing his knowledge of the region. He believes in the simple beauties in life and has a chef that prepares meals for guests only that is worth the trip alone. The rooms are more than comfortable. The water and views are 2nd to none....
