Just back from a great time at Drybeck Farm. A lovely campsite run by Steve and Paula. Well looked after and a great breakfast 🍳 each day. Yurts are well equipped with cooker, fridge, pots and pans, kettle etc. Just turn up and enjoy. Hoping to get back over soon. Kev

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Drybeck farm. We have always wanted to stay in a gypsy caravan and Evelyn did not let us down. Both the caravan and adjoining cookhouse are well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Even if the weather is bad you can still sit on the table...

I stayed here with my two children in the large yert and we had a great time. The only reason I'm giving this 4 and not 5is because there was meant to be a horse drawn carriage but this was broke on arrival and the hot tub had been double booked so we missed out, but other than that the...

Thank you for your lovely review and kind comments. I remember you from your visit and it was a pleasure hosting you. Apologies for not being able to access the carriage ride and hot tub. I am afraid that last year was a bit of a muddle after the floods of December 2015 and it was just about getting back...

This really is the 'perle rare' as we say in French. I even have a slight tug telling me to keep this place secret, but that would be selfish! So those out there who are looking for a small piece of paradise in Cumbria come and discover. Next to the river Eden, rich in wildife you have a choice of...

As I have never been camping or Glamping before I didn't really know what to expect, the place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful! We arrived at the farm and Steve showed us to where we park the car and then our 'yurt' which was so cute and spacious! He also showed us the showers and toilets. Our friends had the...

I booked one of the gypsy caravans as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday. We were in caravan Ruby and she was so cute! We were right next to the river, everything was pretty much perfect. Ruby is quite small but contained a double bed, stove heater and some storage space. It was ideal for 2 nights. The outdoor kitchen...

Having stayed in Evelyn, the gypsy caravan, in year 1; the vintage caravan (now a hen house post floods) in year 2; this year we did a week in the Wigloo. Lovely. We, once again, pretty much spent a week sitting in a field. There are, of course, lots of things to do in Cumbria - we just like sitting...

We were looking for a very last minute glamping getaway to suit my partner and I, plus our 4 month baby and dog. Stephen suggested we try the Wigloo and what a treat it was! Spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable trip away from home! Stephen, the owner, was excellent - great communication during the booking process and...

We spent four nights here, and it was the perfect place to explore the Lake District and surrounding areas. The gypsy caravan was charming and quaint. It was very comfortable to sleep in and the kitchen area was practical - we were able to be independent and cook our own meals. The area was rather remote, perfect if you want...
