First off, this is not a tourist town and it is in one of the poorest countries in the world, so don't expect first class accommodations. Our room was nicely done, but it was on the street level and traffic is very noisy. Towels were threadbare and the fitted sheets would not stay on.. Hot water was sometimes hot, sometimes... More

The service in this hotel is terrific, reminding me of an old-fashioned hotel in Europe. The reception staff grabbed our bags and whisked them to our rooms. The beds were "Just right"- not too hard , not too soft. Free coffee is available in the morning, and breakfast can include granola... All in all, a real respite from spending nights... More

I spent four nights here on a business trip that brought me to Marcala, and stayed in a semi-suite room for 750 lempiras (a little less than $40/night). I thought the price was very reasonable, but don't know other hotels in the town. The hotel was very clean and well kept throughout. The floors were all tile. I had hot... More

We thought the price for a double room @$40 was a little pricey for the Marcala area but the room was nice, had lots of room, T.V., etc. and was kept clean throughout our multi-night stay. We did not have a car but I believe they have secure parking. The hotel is located on the entrance to town, about a... More

“The rooms vary a great deal, so be sure to ask how the room is appointed. Does it have AC? Is it on the street? What kind of furniture?”

“There is good wi-fi in the dining room- I didn't try it in our room. Beds are far more luxurious than what I have usually found outside the major cities in Honduras.”
