Bombora Bungalows offers 6 individual traditional style wooden bungalows (fan cooled) two with hot water and two cold water only. We also have a 2 bedroom delux bungalow with AC/Hot Water which can also offer kitchen facilities. This bungalow is ideal for families or small groups. All bungalows surround a stunning pool with decking and garden area for relaxing and sunbathing. The many coconut trees which we built the bungalows around provide much needed shade in the heat of the day. Our staff are here to make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible. Just ask and we will help. Stayed at Bombora Bungalows again in February with a mate for a 2 week surf trip, this ia about the sixth stay at Bombora and the staff treat you like family, very attentive and obliging and great service from everyone from the room cleaners "aweng & Janni" all the way to the top Risman. Rilley Reception & Dap the Barista are extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to assist were they can. The food is very tasty and always fresh. The bungalows and grounds are always neat and tidy and the pool is always clean. Can't wait to return.

We did not stay in Bombora, just ate there a few times. I fell in love with the place, the food was wonderful, the place looks very nice and they let us use the pool to freshen up after our lunch even though we didn't stay there. i would recommend this place anytime!

This was a back-up option after our first hotel choice was booked out but I’m so glad fate landed us at Bombora! Gorgeous individual huts with private outdoor bathroom where you can shower under the stars! Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. The only issue for one of the nights was that I could hear loud music playing which made it difficult to sleep but the remainder of the time was fine!

We were there just for diner but the food was so great that we had to come back the next night again. U just have to try their steamed fish with pesto!!!! everything we had was so tasty. Staff is nice and very friendly. Definitely would go tomorrow again😉

From about 8pm to 2am: Noisy bar with rock band next door. They seem to start around 9pm and the thumping drums, bass, electric guitar and singing can be heard in our room with all windows and doors closed. From about 3am: Besides the noise from the band, the dogs next door seems to be barking non-stop in the dead of night around 3am. About 5am: the nearby mosque starts broadcasting their prayers. I am used to mosque in my country that broadcast prayers but in this hotel room, its just too near & loud to get any decent sleep. Good aspect: Location of hotel is short walk to many restaurants, mini-marts & beach. Breakfast is decent portions and staff attentive to requests.

Thank you for your review and we're sorry that you experienced a noisy evening at our place. The bar that you refer to is actually not next door to our place as we only have a medical center and vacant land either side of us and a shop and homestay opposite us. However there is an open air bar which is up the street away from us and because most places in Kuta are open air sound can travel and many of the surrounding places will hear their music, unfortunately it is hard for us to prevent these bars from playing their music but we will continue to ask if they can stop earlier. As you may appreciate it's a developing area and so things are very rustic! They don't have a band every night but it can be once a week maybe that they play that kind of music so we're sorry that it disturbed your night. With regards to the dogs as I mentioned there is vacant land next to our place and sometimes the street dogs can wander around the surrounding areas of our place and get noisy however again this is not constant and it is unfortunately out of our control as these dogs are not homed. We do support a local charity 'Kuta Lombok Dogs' that is trying to work towards reducing the amount of dogs that are in Kuta through sterilisation. It is unfortunate that the dogs decided to congregate nearby during the night of your stay. Finally the mosque - Lombok is a predominantly muslim island in Indonesia and you will find in Kuta in particular that there is a mosque almost every few hundred meters! It is part of the culture of the island and the call to prayer is part of that. Sometimes the volume is high sometimes not so high but again this is not something we can control. It would be hard to find a place in Kuta where you don't hear the call to prayer. So we do apologise that you had a noisy night but we are glad that everything else was to your satisfaction and we hope that overall you enjoyed your stay in Kuta Lombok.
