We've just returned home to Nelson after the loveliest evening at Ravencourt. First of all, the drive from Nelson is beautiful and I could feel myself settling as we neared the B & B, on the country dirt road. We were greeted in the driveway and escorted to some seats in the courtyard where the pianist and classical guitarist were...

Ravencourt is a unique and beautiful house, surrounded by nature. The experience is completed by the great hospitality of Dorothea and Peter. They are fabulous hosts, and it was a pleasure to have interesting conversations with them on the patio overlooking a forest. Overall, it was an outstanding stay. We wish we could stay longer than one night, especially since...

Surrounded by art and lovely hosts, this quiet restful spot is filled with beauty. Located in the Slocan Valley, rich with culture and rural mountain and water beautyscapes, a short drive from Nelson, a centre of a diversity of cultural happenings in a lovely heritage setting, Ravencourt often has early evening concerts for guests and valley residents alike.

The Ravencourt, is our favourite B&B in Canada and beyond. It is located at the end of a country road on the edge of a majestic wilderness featuring Valhalla Park and the pristine Slocan River. It is the ideal spot if you are interested in hiking in alpine meadows, biking an old rail line or paddling in gin clear waters....

I changed my original plans and stayed some days longer, and if coming back in this area I’ll definitely choose this B&B again. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean, breakfast is awesome and the owners are very nice and helpful, they gave me great advice what to do in the area and also provided me with a bike. Lots of...

We stayed at Ravencourt B&B for four nights, loved every minute and only wished we had planned a longer stay. The location is perfect for an idyllic break, with easy access to hiking trails, lakes and local towns such as Kaslo & Nelson. The accommodation was very clean and spacious. Dorothea is a great host (with very high attention to...

Staying at the Ravencourt was like spending time in another country. The room was spacious and clean, the beds comfortable and the owners friendly and most accommodating. Situated out in the beautiful Slocan Valley, a drive off the main highway, we were transported into the silence of the beautiful Slocan Valley. I loved every minute of our stay and would...

This B & B was terrific! The straw bale house is gorgeous, with really interesting and unique art work and architectural features. Our hosts, Dorothea and Peter were charming- the perfect combination of Swiss and Canadian hospitality. The lattes, made to specific order were legendary and breakfast was delicious. We were on a bicycle trip so Dorothea made an extra...
