Our stay was very nice, with good service from the staff. All the rooms have balconies/terraces with great views. The hotel is built with terracotta clay and bamboo, quite unique, allthough termites are having a great time on some of the wood. The rooms were spacious and nice with mosquito nets over the beds. There are mosquitos at night on...

I have lived in thailand for 5 years and have traveled quite extensively across the country. I have stayed in every type of hotel imaginable and I must say that Phu Chaisai is the most unique, pleasant experience I have ever had. From the ecologically-sound choice of local building materials, to the juxtapositioning of rooms on a hill to provide...

This place is awesome....quintessentially a summary of Thai culture. The hotel is certainly unique in its structure. It is very natural, i think the whole room was made from bamboo. We had an awesome view out onto the padi fields which was scenic and very romantic. Rooms were very private too. We had dinner first night at the restaurant and...

Spent Christmas here and it was lovely. It's quite far out so perfect if you want to sample the local countryside as we did. We walked all over the estate, looking at the stunning views, wildlife and meeting local people just going about their business (much to the amusement of the staff who kept trying to offer us a golf...

We found this place on the Trip Advisor site and booking went well online... although we did not confirm our airport pick up which caused a delay in our transport to the Hotel staying in a Deluxe Room. We stayed during the week for 4 nights during early November... weather was great.... sunny during the day, but cooler at night...

What a wonderful relaxing boutique hotel. Once you get through few hiccups i.e. much of the staff barely speaks English, the menu is the same for lunch and dinner, the rest is just perfect. We staid in a deluxe room (401-one of the best position) with 180degree of a view to die for. The room was massive with a king...

Had a fantastic time here. We stayed in the Pool Villa, cannot recommend it enough. There was some building going on but it looks like they have nearly finished and it never caused any problems. The food is good and not over priced. The views are fantastic and the staff so helpful and polite.

This is a wonderful resort, up in the mountains, away from everything. The service was very good, the tours provided by the hotel were very good (unlike a previous guest's comments, we had a driver and a guide who was able to provide information on each of the locations we visited), however the main reason for coming here has to...

The only bad thing about our stay at Phu Chaisai was that we only stayed for 2 nights. It was spectacular. Even the least expensive rooms are treated to an extraordinary view and sublime comfort. The staff, from our pickup at the Chiang Rai airport to our transfer to the Chiang Rai bus station, was kind and efficient, and their...

I stayed here with my wife for 4 nights when visiting Chiang Rai. When we arrived we were checked into a room without AC and generally of a very low standard. What was worse was that the staff did not tell us about this and even lied to us since we asked if this was the honey moon suite and...
