My wife and I stopped at Suanthip Vana recently - this is a small hotel (36 rooms), although it seems larger because the rooms are spread out. The setting is amazingly nice - other comments say it is like stopping in a botanical garden, and I must agree. We stopped in one of the six Pkakeryor villas, individual houses on...

My wife and I stayed here on 2 occasions - once in early December (very cold at night with thick fog in the morning!) and the other time in early February (a little warmer). On both occassions we stayed in the Baan Pkakeryor villas. I can only echo largely what earlier reviewers have said before: * Excellent and unpretentious (genuine)...

This place was utterly beautiful. I have travelled...

It is...

I was completely blown over by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, despite its being ultra-low season (I think there were only 2-3 other guests there...). They really made this a most lovely stay. Even when dropping us off at Chiang Rai Airport, they suggested and took us first to see a temple (Wat Rong Khun) near the city,...
