Our two night getaway to Ketchups was magical. Although is is very dry and hot in the area we were cool at night as our tent was on top of a beautiful ridge. The personal outdoor kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed champagne and prawns while chatting to the local wildlife. We would highly recommend the experience and we’ll go back in winter when it’s cold to really enjoy the outdoor camp fire.

Ketchups Bank was a beautiful tranquil place where you could totally relax, unwind and enjoy the picturesque views, listen and watch the birds and even feed the wallabies. The breakfast hamper which came as part of the package was amazing with freshly laid eggs from the host’s hens, bacon from the local butcher, mushrooms and tomatoes along with delicious bread. It was a real bonus that our dietary needs were catered for. We enjoyed cooking in the outdoor kitchen and relaxing by the fire each night. We loved that we were provided with the ingredients to make damper and marshmallows to toast over the fire. We stayed in the Knapps eco-tent and it was so well set out and had everything we needed, including high quality linen. The hosts Alex and Anna were so friendly and helpful. All the extra touches and the amazing location made this the perfect stay.

Within a 1 hour drive we were enjoying the peaceful surrounds of Ketchup Bank where you just arrive and every little detail and comfort has been prepared for you. To sit around a camp fire and stare at the embers cook a damper (optional extra) and look at he stars away from the city lights is one of life's simple pleasures and you truly feel you have escaped the white noise of modern living. My husband and I cannot recommend this enough! A perfect getaway that ticks all the glamping experience boxes and then some! The tiny house (baya) is beautifully designed and decorated and has everything you need, from amenities to bird seed and wallaby feed. The location is awesome, with complete privacy- nothing but you and the stunning outlook. We opted in on the breakfast and bbq dinner hampers which did not disappoint- full of delicious fresh quality produce. These were waiting for us in the fridge, which had no problem fitting these hampers along with the cheese and wine we brought with us. Alex was very welcoming and despite us showing up earlier than previously planned (sorry again Alex), everything was ready upon our arrival. We have recommended this place to everyone we know and we will definitely be going back- this time in winter when we can make use of the tiny house’s fireplace. . . . you know, in case we want to switch it up from the outdoor fire pit with the incredible view😉.

Perfect destination for a getaway.I went with my daughter and it was the best medicine as we both had things going on in our lives and needed time out .The room was all that you could ask for and more when Glamping ! hospitally very accomodatating. We had morning visits from the chickens who wanted to be fed and in return we received fresh eggs every morning ! We enjoyed complimentary marsmallows by the campfire while the baby wallabies gathered and nibblled on fresh grass. Would highly recommend if you love nature, mountain veiws in the distance and being isolated from the rat race ! Thankyou :)

In between the Australia 2019 bushfires and the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic there was the perfect spot to leave the "regular" world a little behind and reconnect with nature and oneself. This place is an oasis of beauty, piece and quiet; with the most comfortable eco tents and Alex and Anna running it with very warm and attentive hospitality, completely off the grid. The daily hampers filled with local delicious produce gave us so much fun to prepare our own meals in the spacious bush kitchen while we didn't even have to do the dishes. We celebrated New Year's Eve under the stars, our music where the sounds of birds and trees and our guests cute wallabees with their joeys making it the best start into a New Year! The positive energy we got from this wonderful stay was a special gift for what would turn out a very different world in 2020. Alex and Anna, stay safe and healthy and we will be back!

Ketchups Bank Glamping is now my favourite weekend away from Brisbane. Having travelled quite extensively, the Baya Little House compares with the best I’ve experienced anywhere in the world.
From Alex’s warm welcome and the spectacular views, to the thoughtful decorative touches inside, the Baya is a must-do experience.
The Little House is equipped with a gas stovetop, a fridge, cutlery and crockery, and even basic essentials such as milk, coffee, tea, oil, salt and pepper! A steep set of stairs leads to the bedroom with a window on the stars. While we loved it, this would be a struggle for someone with mobility impairment. However, I would even settle for sleeping on the couch downstairs to experience the wonder of the landscape.
We ordered the breakfast hampers, which was plentiful and fresh. Bacon, eggs, mushroom, tomatoes, chutney, fruit, orange juice, butter and croissants set us up well for a day of, well, doing nothing. Both hampers were waiting for us in the fridge upon arrival.
However, it is the position of this tiny architectural marvel that makes it such a spectacular destination. From the outside fire pit to the hammock and lovely deck, the landscape folds in on itself, creating an ever-changing canvas as the sun and clouds interchangeably create pockets of shadow and ridges of sunlight. Magnificent!
All of this, in complete privacy with only the sighing wind through the trees and the lowing of cattle to add to the reverie.
Anna and Alex, thank you very much for being the authors of an incredible weekend.
We will visit again!

This was such a wonderful glamping experience, and I can't give high enough praise to the escape that Anna and Alex have created, giving attention to the smallest details like marshmallow kit, Billy tea, cast iron cookware for fire cooking, outdoor kitchen, bean bags, electric blankets, plenty of firewood, and convenient things like having oil, cling wrap, and alfoil already there. Staying here was a true pleasure. Not only are the tents and outdoor kitchen facilities excellent, but the views are also ridiculously breathtaking. My partner and I stayed three nights, and it was the perfect opportunity to just relax, drink wine by the fire, and chill out. We also had the breakfast hampers, dinner hampers, and The Board, all of which were very generous, and incredibly tasty, plus showcased local suppliers. Also, order the Damper Hamper because is it really camping in Australia if you don't have a damper and Billy tea? I'm so keen to visit again, and perhaps book the Baya retreat for something different, but I 1000% recommend staying here - do yourself a favour and book now!

It was peaceful and allowed us to push the concerns of the world back for the time we were there. It's relative isolation is a great feature - it encourages you to stop and just be.
The location is spectacular - the views and the way they change through the day as the angle of the sunlight varied was amazing.
The facilities were great (remembering of course that it's glamping) and the hospitality shown by Alex and Anna was attentive, friendly, and never became intrusive.
In all in all a fantastic place. We are keen to return.

This was our first glamping experience and it won't be our last. Alex and Anna were the consummate owners and operators. Everything was catered for down to the jars of dry food for the birds and wallabies who frequented our tent site.
