Unbelievable: We discovered A LOT OF BLACK HAIRS spreaded all over the pillows and sheets. The first thing we thought was to run away and look for another hotel, but it was almost midnight...And we tried non think about the way that hairs had arrived to the beds... We complained to reception, the lady change sheets and pillows an suggested...

Other than nice, clean, spectacular view and friendly staff, we got a great care from the hotel. With our misjudge of time, we were trekking in the dark on the way down from mount Skala. The hotel kept calling us every half an hour from 21.00 to check our safety. When we arrived at bottom, they called a taxi to...

The down stairs is European classy with cozy lounge area and live piano music next to the buffet dinner room with an awesome fjord view. I thought the lack of an elevator might be a problem so we down loaded to one suit case. The young man checking us in had no problem carrying it up for us. These stairs...

Fantastic view from the room, great buffet for dinner and breakfast. Spent one night in olden fjord, and was a bit frightened at first after reading some bad comments here about the manager. I have met him and he was very pleasant and helpful. As was the rest of the staff. Would come back here anytime!

An interesting hotel, special old style loby furnitures with library and stuffed animal scene, rooms where dispersed around no elevators (elder people and single weman needed assistant but no bell boys) isolated location with magnificent views of the fjord and mountains. We had our first hotel dinner there selection was nice cooking skill O.K. no more, drinks exceptionaly expensive, dinning...

A breakfast was relatively good. A sight from a guest room and dinning room is nice. No causal relationships in evident, I got cold after staying in this hotel. The mountain in front of the hotel is covered with snow. An Insect was crawling on the floor. No elevator in the hotel; therefore, it was difficult to carry a heavy...

the first thing that you have to understand is that in general Norwegian hotels seem to be functional, minimalistic with regard to furnishings and mostly not modern decor. So a four star will not have chocolates on your pillow, bed turned down, pajamas neatly folded etc as in most Swiss hotels. It is clean, the bed was comfortable I slept...

This is a very outdated place, the food is good and the staff is mostly doing their job, but the manager is a tyrant. We observed him yelling at guests for not being dressed correctly (we did not know it was a dresscode at this outdated hotel) literally running after a guest as they were driving away, hitting the side...

This hotel is small but cozy. Nothing too great except for the view. No AC which was standard in Norway. However it was more than 30C and our room (facing west) was under sunlight for the entire afternoon. Couldn't sleep at all before midnight. No way to cool down as there is no fan in the room as well. Meal...

Not sure if every room comes with a view or not but it surely worth the money. The room itself is quite spacious. Bed is comfortable. It is located right on Olden. Must warn people about Olden. There's really no place to eat other than in the hotel. You can go to Stryn (about 10km away I think) to find...
