Having spent three nights here with my wife, this really is a superb retreat for those seeking relaxation and a quiet life. About five stone chalets facing the sea, friendly, happy staff, and hilarious host Peter, make this a great alternative to Bali. A direct flight from Jakarta, 1.5 hours by taxi to the port and a 10 minute boat... More

After exploring the beaches around Kuta Lombok we went to the Pear Beach Resort on Gili Asahan. We were looking for a tranquil place with less tourism and good snorkelling possibilities. Therefore we were happy about our 3 nights stay at Pearl Beach Resort. The resort ust small and consists of 4 stone bungalows and 4 bamboo cottages (cheaper). The... More

Very friendly and helpful greeting on arrival. Stunning bungalows. Very small island, easily circumnavigated on foot. Only the one resort so far with a small village of around 120 people. Dive shop on-site. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

This small resort is tucked away on southern Lombok only 15 minutes by 'slow boat' from the mainland. We really enjoyed our stay here. We chose the more luxurious accommodation having a bungalow close to the restaurant. It also had a verandah overlooking the beach and closer islands. Snorkeling is excellent off the resort either to the left or right... More

It was not easy for us to select which resort to book in Lombok. Finally we decided to book at Pearl Beach Resort in the southern part of Lombok. It was really worth staying. The resort is really peaceful, quiet and clean with calm sea at the beach for swimming and snorkeling with variety of aquatic life at the coral... More
