Away from the craziness of the city, tucked away in what seems to be a private jungle is the Bangkok Tree House. The accommodations were excellent and so was the staff. Free bikes are provided so you can ride along the board walk through the jungle to the market, artist areas, and to temples. I wish we had more time...

Awesome concept hotel. Beautifully located. Located in what is known as the green lung of Bangkok. Surrounded by plants and greenery. Such a nice retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city life of bkk. The bicycles to explore are very convenient. The only negatives to Bangkok treehouse is some of the staff. The service was shaky. The...

My husband and I went here for part of our honeymoon. We highly recommend getting the View with a Room - even if only for one night! There's nothing better than waking up to the sound of the tree-top canopy alive with birds and many other creatures. ECOTOURISM at its finest --- This is a FANTASTIC escape from the busy...

It takes a lot for me to be disappointed (see my other reviews) and this was one of them. This creative concept fell short. I'll start with the good. Pro - Nice to ride bikes around area. Recommend if it's not a public holiday or weekend for a quite nice escape, now Bangkok tourists love to have a bike day trip here and u will get not much services and too crownded and over heated. Nearby have a local food market, where a lot of snack offering for u to try on.

Bang Kachao is said to be "the lungs of Bangkok", the area is rich in biodiversity. High density of trees in this area provides fresh air, calm and peaceful place, suitable for a serene escape, just minutes from downtown. Nice bike routes around here. The area is said to be the Bangkok’s very best cycling spot. Bangkok Tree House -...

The hotel was awesome, great architecture, friendly and hospitable staff, and cool atmosphere. Only caveat is having to take a boat across every time you need to go back to your hotel. Someone who is trying to stay out late on Khao San road might have trouble enjoying themselves as they will have a curfew since the boat service ends...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It's enough to make any urban dweller green with envy: A place where you can breath clean air, explore a lush landscape, and sleep under the stars just a 30-minute ride outside the teeming, traffic-choked city center -- by public transportation, no less -- without giving up all the comforts of home. Guests at the new Bangkok Tree House can whisk themselves away from the Thai capital and its 12 million people by hopping on a recently completed extension of the city's elevated-rail network, the BTS Skytrain, to the Bangna station and then continuing on by foot, bicycle, or boat. ... more   less
