Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our first stop on our trip in Ireland and it was hands down our favorite part of the trip. We loved Doolin but it was really our stay at O'Sheedy's that made our trip. The location is perfect, walking distance to all the pubs, restaurants and even the ferry to the Aran Islands. The room was clean, comfortable and truly one of the nicest rooms we stayed in on our 10 day journey around Ireland. The property is gorgeous and serene. Ultimately, the stay was incredible because of the hospitality and incredible food and company provided by Marian, Frank and Bertie (the dog). The breakfasts filled us for full days of adventures, made with fresh local ingredients, lots of choices and creative food options. Frank is a master chef for sure! Marian is so kind and gives the best recommendations of things to see and do. We always enjoyed chatting with her! Bertie is just the best dog, period. I can't recommend this place enough and have decided that no matter where I go in Ireland, a stop in Doolin at O'Sheedy's will always be on the itinerary!

Property's Favourite Review
The Sheedy's Doolin Boutique B&B is what all B&Bs aspire to be like. Marian and Frank are genuinely nice people. They designed their establishment and saw to every detail, and their many years experience is evident. It is clean, the colors fresh and serene and the rooms (especially the beds) are comfortable. Marian not only suggests the best places to eat but makes your arrangements if you wish. Frank is a chief, and you won't find a better breakfast anywhere. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The morning sideboard always looks like what you would find on a cooking magazine cover. This was not our first stay with them. We love to travel and this is by far our favorite place to stay. The town, the views, the people of Doolin are wonderful, and the Sheedy's B&B makes it the perfect destination.

Good hotel with fresh renovation in the rooms, I had a standard room, really liked the cleanliness in it, the staff was polite and pleasant, they checked us in earlier than the scheduled time, the room had two separate beds. Also, the breakfast at this hotel was very enjoyable, everything was delicious.

We are rather late in submitting this review but looking back, we still have great memories of our time at Sheedy's. There is absolutely nothing we could fault. We were welcomed by Marian to the lovely accommodation which was spacious, clean and very well serviced. Frank's breakfasts were a daily treat and the extensive and imaginative menu was something we had never experienced before. Thank you to you both. We wish you continuing success; you deserve it!

Frank and Marian have made such a beautiful place to stay in Doolin. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. At this point in our stay we were used to being spoiled with an amazing breakfast, but the breakfast at Sheedy’s was on a higher orbit. It was a gourmet breakfast that I won’t forget. Their sheepdog, Bertie, is also most friendly. I can’t say enough about Sheedy’s except that I hope to visit again in the not so distant future.

We stayed two nights at Sheedy's and it was the best place we stayed in Ireland. Our room was lovely - spacious and clean with modern simple decor. The bed was very comfortable. It came with great parking, and was in a fantastic location. Marian was a wonderful hostess and the breakfast was so good. This place was perfect - I cannot say enough good things. Bertie the dog was an added bonus!

Our stay at Sheedy's was definitely our favorite during our trip to Dublin. Marianne was a wonderful host and made sure our stay was as perfect as possible. They have a beautiful sheep dog, Bertie, that gently greeted us when we arrived. Perfectly situated-- we were able to walk to many pubs and delicious restaurants. It was also situated about a 10 minute walk to one of the trail heads of the Cliffs of Moher coastal hike. The rooms had the most comfortable bedding, pillows, and sheets-- I felt like I was sleeping on clouds and it was perfect to come back to after a long day of hiking. The showers had great water pressure. The cherry on top to our stay was a delicious breakfast each morning to fuel us for our day. We loved staying here and wish we could've stayed longer. Would definitely stay here again if we're ever back in Doolin.

Sheddy Doolin’s BnB deserves more than a five star rating! We knew we were in for something special, when upon arrival, a rainbow appeared across from our private parking spot. It’s the perfect location to venture out from. We could see the Cliffs of Moher from our bedroom window.😱 We stayed in the king bed suite and only wished we booked more than our one night stay. The attention to details was evident in every area of the home. I couldn’t help but smile at all the artwork throughout the house. And, the breakfast- wow!! This was soo outstanding. I’ve eaten in highend restaurants and this ranked up as one of the best we’ve ever experienced. My husband even said it was one of the top memories of our entire trip. Thank you, Frank! Oh, and I even brought home two jars of his homemade jam and it was delicious! Marian was so warm, friendly and helpful. She made great recommendations for places to eat and how to get to different places to hike the Cliffs of Moher and what to see and do in the Burren. We made it to the sheepdog experience by 2:15 Marian!! I could go on and on about how wonderful this stay was but I’ll end by saying just how much we enjoyed getting our pup fix with Bertie, their friendly Old English Sheepdog.

A purpose built B&B with every imaginable extra including an ice maker for guests and flashlights to aid guests returning from dinner in the dark. Large comfortable bedrooms, tastefully decorated with thoroughly modern bathrooms. Breakfast was outstanding thanks to the masterful owner chef. Wide array of breakfast starters including smoothies followed by beautifully presented hot ‘entrees’. Nothing less than five stars for this very welcoming establishment with very accommodating owners.

The service was 5 star all the way. The host was always eager to help us by answering any questions. The breakfasts were extraordinarily good. The location was convenient to the pubs and shops and also the Doolin Pier and Cliffs of Moher. Fabulous!
