This is such a nice place, quiet, close and close to nature. The beach nearby, we take a morning walk there every day. The villa is larger than we expected and the views, both from the balcony and the restaurant are simply amazing. Staff is so friendly and helpful, the ones in the reception speak English very well. They helped us with snorkeling tours and scooter rentals and the prices were good compared to what we saw on offer down the road. There is a good selection of restaurants nearby. Not a party area, so don't expect that. The breakfast has lots of options and is definitely recommended.

Rented a 2 bedroom villa with private pool. Pool was amazing clean with with possibility to turn on water jets. The amazing thing was an incredible view. The rest was near and served very well cooked Thai food. The breakfast was also good you could choose between English, American and special breakfast. We did experience a rat on the roof but they handled the problem and discounted some of our food as compensation. The staff was very friendly and polite and the helped us fix a pair of trousers for free.

This hotel caters itself to Muslim families -, and I think that dissuades some types of Westerners in wanting to stay, but the hotel is welcoming to guests of any religion and families. We travelled there during low season/wet season, we seemed to be the only guests. We loved this hotel very much. The hotel gave us a stunning hotel with the best view. Stayed in a family complex with private pool - so lovely - Big, beautiful rooms. It was massive and the staff are so friendly and accommodating!! Being in a developing nation, we experienced some short regional blackouts at night and there seemed to be no backup generator on site, so got very hot. Note the walk up to some of the villas is up a steep incline and it can be hard if you are unfit. The hotel close to beautiful forest / national park, and great coastal views. You are also able to hire a motorbike or scooter on the island which is a fun activity to do when getting around!

Loved this place we stayed for 9 nights. The villa was big and spacious. The pool has the most wonderful view of the sea and sunsets. It was a great location close to the beach and 7 eleven and good restaurants. But the best thing was the staff we were so well looked after they were all so friendly and helpful. We were staying with our two kids age 9 and 13. We would definitely come back. Thank you Bann Puteri for making out stay on koh lanta so great.

We visit Ko Lanta almost on a yearly basis. Instead of the usual hotels on Kan Thieng Bay, we opt for a one bedroom villa for our one week stay.
Upon arrival at Krabi we had a pickup transport with Musa from Lanta Jinda Tour. We stopped over at Tesco supermarket to stock up on bottled water, canned drinks, snacks etc for our stay as the villas are located on a long slope. If you can ride a scooter then you can get your stuffs from 7-11 easily.
I am very fussy with clean beds and bathrooms and was glad that the villa was neatly cleaned upon our arrival and bath towels provided. For a small fee you may request for their room cleaning service. We had our rooms cleaned every two days and towels/beds changed.
We dine out all the time so the small kitchen was only used to boil hot water for our morning instant coffee.
There is a good Thai Chinese restaurant nearby 'Kantieng Restaurant' which opens from 10am to 10pm so on nights when we got too lazy to walk down to the beachfront for dinner we would always end up here.
The locals seemed to sleep early, so by about 10 - 10.30pm, our surrounding was very quiet and one can have a good night's rest till morning!
The only complaint would be no Aircon in the living area but we have managed to settle in on the 3rd day by leaving the balcony doors open in the day to enjoy the sea breeze.
The owner Khun Prem was very friendly and will try his best to attend to our concerns about the villa.
Overall this villa is definitely worth a stay if you spend your day out at sea, lazing on the beach or local eateries, and want a quiet room to rest for the night!

you rent your own villa, with your own kitchen. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. Towels and soup included. You had to walk a bit to get to the store and down to the beach, because the villas are on the hillside, but it was not to far. Great view of the ocean. You get what you pay for and if you stay a longer period in koh lanta, this is a great option. Overall a good place.

We stayed in a 2 bed "villa". The pictures on the website make it look good.. the 2nd bedroom had a separate front door and was separate from the rest of the villa. It was ok for us but would not have been suitable for a family with young children. To get to the 2nd bedroom you need to go onto the balcony or via the front door. The accommodation is also very basic but having said that you get what you pay for! Our villa was "tired". The bathroom sink waste leaked (poured!) and although we complained it never got fixed. No good if you don't like small creatures coming in. There were a lot of geckos, a couple of frogs and rather worse, a couple of very large cockroaches in our place. Good points: Great views (we chose a sea view); lovely breakfast delivered to your door everyday and Very friendly staff. The beach at Kantiang bay is amazing too. 4 nights at this villa was enough, don't think I could've stayed for two weeks.

personally would say this is decent enough for me in view of the rates am paying. in terms of cleanliness and amenties, it has met the standards relative to what I paid. to be fair, u cannot compare lanta with resorts in Maldives and Seychelles so if you wanna go there, be prepared to live without some home comforts.

there are 2 categories of villas there: one batch is older; the other newer and I reckon what iloveholidays49 mentioned is probably in the older villas (but still granted, age is no excuse for whatever he or she has to put up with). the point is - did you then make a comment to the boss Prem about this? I believe he will sort it out for u pronto if you did comment to him.

I stayed at the newer villas so everything works fine for me, except there is a lack of air-conditioning in the hall which kinda makes the heat unbearable during the peak season (so get out and play).

one thing everyone has to be aware is that the toilet flush system is not really the types elsewhere in other developed places (and same goes for the whole island) - DO NOT flush down tissues etc if you don't want to end up overflowing the bathroom!

We stayed in a two bed sea view villa. Villa number 8 directly in front of the pool. The villa was spacious clean and fully equipped. Two bedrooms on different levels both with separate bathrooms and toilets. Inbetween the bedroom areas there was a separate lounge area and court yard with an outside kitchen. The staff were all lovely friendly and helpful.
The food was all good , freshly prepared, the massaman and Penang curries were especially good.
I dont understand any off the negative comments regarding the property we loved it and regarding price we got a lot less for similar money on the other thai islands we have visited.
Will defiantly be back !
