For the price this was excellent value for money. After reading the reviews and me being quite fussy I almost cancelled this hotel but we gave it a go anyway.
Rooms - basic and very typical Thai we had what we needed. There’s a choice of garden bungalow which are located across the quiet road or beach bungalows which is what it says on the beach. Each room has a porch where you can chill and there’s also a tap to hose down your feet. Safe and fridge also.
Restaurant - whilst the breakfast included was again basic you could grab some thing to drink with toast and eggs. All other food we paid for was lovely and great value for money. The bar is run separately’Bang Bar’ and is again reasonable with great bar staff.

The beach and sea completed the location song with being central to what we wanted with beaches and the old town all within distance.

A few comments relating to the hotel staff, yes they could have been friendlier however, we didn’t experience any problems.

Would I stay again? Yes although for us we like to try new locations. The hotel is all about what expectations you have compared to how much you pay. I certainly felt we got what we paid for and the accommodation is very affordable ‘cheap and cheerful’

Lanta nice
We stayed at lanta nice beach for 4 nights.
On arrival we went through our booking together, which always feels good so there are no misunderstandings from either side. We also got two tasty juice drinks, nice! We were very pleasantly surprised that the bungalow was spacious and had everything you needed and it also said Two water bottles. Pool towels and shower towels were sufficient in the room. Wifi and AC worked great. The bungalow is quite worn and could use a refresh of the surface and new furniture, but it is nothing that affects the stay, in my opinion. However, I missed a bedside table and a small table lamp for the evenings. I would have liked to have a towel hook in the bathroom and to be able to have the shower suspended at the same time as showering and not have to hold it all the time. A toilet brush would have been good to have.
The water stopped working for short moments during the stay. Then you couldn't flush the toilet. A bit troublesome.
The bed is very hard, but it suits us very well with hard beds, so we slept very well!
We were offered cleaning once during our stay but it was late in the afternoon when we were "home" so we opted out. Would have liked to receive the cleaning earlier. We did however get refills of water and toilet paper every day.

The pool that is on the complex is good. A few sunbeds around, but almost right next to it is a whole sea, don't forget to take advantage of it! The associated restaurant is ok. Fairly expensive and a bit tasteless. Recommend trying other restaurants nearby! Including jai-dee
However, the breakfast was ok. This was one of the few that opened early in the morning.
The bar at the hotel had good mojitos for 100 baht!
In summary. Affordable accommodation if you don't have high demands but still want to be close to the sea. Unfortunately this property will get 3 stars from me due to the lack of fire alarms/smoke detectors. It is a very important thing which, in my opinion, should be a matter of course for a resident.

Amazing position on the beach. The hotel has rooms beach side and across the road set in gardens. Our room was awful I’m afraid. It was clean but in desperate need of an update. There was air con that worked ok but there were so many holes in the door and the door frame that mosquitoes were a problem. (Luckily we had bought our own net) The bathroom was large and the shower was adequate but again there were holes around the windows and the extractor fan was broken so again, mosquito problem. There is a restaurant that serves a buffet breakfast and meals but we didn’t eat there. There are numerous restaurants on the doorstep and the 7/11 and atm’s are a short stroll away. We made the most of our stay because of the position of the hotel and our room being only a few steps from the sea and the cheap price we had paid. Some of the rooms have been upgraded with patio doors and a lick of paint so before you check in perhaps ask to see your room first.

An accommodation in good location on nin beach
where we stayed for 3 days on this year's thailand holiday.
Had superior bungalow that met expectations like that.
No cleaning of the room occurred during our days, nor was garbage emptied etc. A toilet roll and 2 water were put on the terrace, that was all during our stay.
Breakfast, staff, pool etc
Not much to write home about.
All the sun loungers by the pool and the beach booked by people early in the morning and were used perhaps in the afternoon if at all then. The hotel had no policy about this so it was just and go ahead on the beach and look. Too bad at such a good location with
staff who don't care.
Reception unstaffed from 8pm.
The last night, the water pipe to the toilet comes off the wall, it sprays one and the other straight onto the floor. No help to get from the hotel so I had to find the shutdown myself in the dark, trash and what do I know behind the bungalow. no water for shower, toilet.sink that night or morning we were going further. One of the worst run places on all our travels around the world.

I don't know where to start - but if I definitely have to start somewhere, then I would describe the hotel as some of the worst I've ever experienced.

Do you know that - you just want to check in, have a bed - a pool/strand and a good air conditioning? All this we did, but this was simply terrible.

Mushroom, concrete hard bed, clam only smell, no hot water - dead gekko, or no hot water to bathe in?

If you would like to experience all these things - then you must book this hotel.
Above the price you get a to laugh hotel board that in no way prioritize you - but only the money you have paid.

So, if you want to be treated like you’re in a prisoner cellar, then book!

If not, then I recommend you don't even walk past that skod hotel. The 2 stars they have been given are really high.. Or no, they shouldn't even exist, to be honest.

We were a party of 5, arrived at the restaurant for a meal and drinks. We ordered starters and mains with a Thai girl that made us feel unwelcome, which was a first for us as every other place had been a warm welcome but this girl had a face like thunder and was very snappy. Our food arrived mains first, for half the group. After 15 mins the other mains arrived but still no starters, finally the starters (we had asked for starters first) arrived, but we had got used to this Thai custom so wasn’t that bothered. Halfway through the meal the girl returned with our bill, this was the first and only time we have been given a bill while still eating?? The total bill was 2400 baht. We had just been to the ATM and received only 1000 baht notes so paid with 3x1000 baht notes which she took. After another 10 mins the girl returned to the table put the leather wallet down and walked off, we opened the wallet to find a single 100baht note when we we should have 600baht change. We called the girl back over and she basically told us rudely we only give 2500 baht which was impossible as we only had 1000 baht notes so not possible to pay 2500. We then spent the next 30 mins trying to get this sorted, which included watching the cctv in the managers office, which clearly showed 3x1000 notes in the wallet. After speaking very good English throughout the night this then changed after the cctv footage and we were basically told we were lying and to go away !!! The next day still shocked, we were discussing around the pool in our resort what had happened only to be approached by another group who told us they had the same experience and again 500baht was the amount they were scammed. Hopefully this is isolated to this restaurant, so be warned check your change and Make sure you confirm the amount you have paid to the waitress. Or just avoid this restaurant. Not good!!!!

We were booked here for 12 nights but had to leave after 11 after our flights changed due to Covid-19. This is a small resort which suits us. It has two locations though. One on the beach side, the other on the other side of the road. Try to get beach side, it is worth it. Our room was lovely, looked out onto the beach which was just steps away, nice little verandah with chairs to sit and watch the sunsets. The room had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was basic but good. Eating at night at the dining tables on the beach is a real treat. The beach in front was great for swimming, no rocks, and while we were there very quiet. Plenty of space.

Terrible!!!!! No book!!

I booked the hotel by mistake, should have at another place. Discovered the error in what I had printed approved, the money was withdrawn immediately. Contacted hotels.com who were very helpful. They immediately called the hotel and said that there was probably no problem because the error was quickly discovered and the journey was 6 months ahead of time. But so wrong you can make, the hotel refuses to refund a penny. And when the trip was cancelled, I won't be used or sold on! 8000 enough!!

The hotel also takes a long time to respond, showing no understanding or helpfulness.

A decent price in a good location with pool, massage and restaurant with sea view!
The beach is really good for running or kids. Flat and long, without shells and the powdery sand is amazing! The rooms were clean and breakfast decent.
Only the hosts have little english and are not particularly welcoming but we still stayed longer than planned because we felt good enough!
Fireshows and lively bars just a few hundreds meter on the beach

We did a night of stopover in Koh-Lanta, with family, in off-season. We chose the resort at random but it was a good surprise. The staff is very kind and helpful. They prepared our room quickly. Being in low season we were not able to enjoy all the services of the Inn, however the pool was functional and it was very nice. The staff made arrangements for us to have breakfast the next morning. Lunch facing the sea with no one around, it is very nice. I recommend this property. The beds are comfortable and the proximity to the sea is a significant plus. For one night of stage, that’s fine.
