We booked a room with park view instead were given a room in what looked like a converted stable/outhouse with Ikea furniture and very low bed. We were told they had no other room available and the manager was not present but she would be there next morning. However she was unavailable next morning and I was told she would...

Ok this must be said that the hotel looked great, it was clean, the staff very friendly but i was not there long enough to enjoy it. To put this in perspective I would choose it again. A couple of things to know - you will need a car and there did not seem to be much around the hotel,...

We stayed at this chateau for one night whilst driving from Spain back to the UK. We wish we had booked for longer. This is a charming little chateau hidden away just off the Bordeaux ring road. The staff are very friendly, the room was clean and modern and the breakfast whilst only continental was very good. We could not have...

Carine, Sonia and all the staff did everything to make the event a success. The food was delicious and well presented. Everyone had a thoroughly good evening. Next morning we enjoyed a...

We held a British Association Christmas Dinner & dance. Several of us stayed overnight in the modern comfortable rooms. The staff were so friendly and helpful going out of their way to make this a special evening. The chateau has been modernized to a high standard whilst retaining many of the original Art Nouveau features including some stunning fireplaces. The...

The small and beautiful hotel is located in and old, historic neoclassic castle which lies in a very nice park with large old trees. The rooms are very modern with a lot of style. The Hotel is about a 10 min drive from the city centre of Bordeaux (or a 10 min walk to the tramway going to Bordeaux). Thus...

I loved Château La Chèze - the enormous grounds were well maintained and had tables and chairs set up on the grass where we enjoyed a picnic dinner and glass of wine. The place was peaceful with a lovely ambience. The staff were very helpful, spoke good English and allowed us to use the hotel fridge. The room was huge,...

This is a great family-run chateau just about 15 minutes outside of Bordeaux. Super friendly (Jaële is the best - love her!), accommodating and helpful staff. Room was clean, welcoming and just what we needed after a long day on the road. Modern decor in the chambre, which was cool and unexpected - the bathroom was huge! Definitely give this...
