A traditional establishment that is a little tired. We stopped for what was a very average lunch at average prices for the area. The service was fine although we were unaware there was a specials board that we only learnt about on leaving. We would not rush to return.

Booked a table and tried to order food. They had sold out of almost everything - no chicken, no salmon only roast beef or streak pie! It was understaffed with only two people serving on a busy day. Staff were working really hard and very apologetic but they just had no food.
