Nice friendly welcome, we were camping on the "panorama pitch" with amazing views. We enjoyed our stay here, but it's just a shame the facilities weren't better. The toilet block was tired and the showers could do with updating, smelly shower curtains and in general could be cleaner. Overall good stay.

Thanks for your feedback and we're glad you enjoyed your stay with the wonderful views and our friendly welcome. Our camp site showers are simple but modern and we do take pride in keeping all our facilities are very clean. Inevitably during peak season when you visited, our facilities see a great deal of use by families. We are always... More

We ( family of four ) stayed next to the Slate Shed in Small Barn Cottage, which was actually very big despite the name. The sun room is very relaxing offering a lovely view. The campers were all very friendly as were the owners and the honesty shop was a welcome option. Plenty of space and everywhere was clean and... More

From the booking to our departure we received the best help you could ask for,we were delayed on the way due to severe traffic and informed reception at least three times as our journey got worse but we were told not to worry and that somebody would be on hand for our arrival,we were met with a smile and a... Thank you! Pleased to hear you enjoyed your hamper and the bottle of fizz on ice for your arrival. Unfortunately another camper picked your ice-packs up by mistake and were really embarrassed when they realised what they had done! The ice-packs are still here so you will just have to come back on holiday here again and pick them up! More

Great campsite with very friendly staff. The site has excellent facilities which are well maintained and clean. Unfortunately my pitch was on quite a slope which made it awkward to sleep but apart from that the site is fantastic. Great views and a great location.

We stayed at the slate shed for a weekend after we got married in August. Was wonderful, the ladies on reception were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Loved the dogs and cat residents too so adorable and friendly especially Grace the dog who looks grumpy but loves a good tummy rub. 😀 We stayed in Miri Mawr, which was very... More

Thank you! It's always lovely to welcome couples for a little peace and quiet here after their wedding celebrations. My Dad is chuffed that his chutney gets the thumbs up and has already made more supplies for packed lunches! More

We had an amazing time here, we stayed in the B&B which was just how we imagined it to be. I'm gluten free and was more than catered for. Great place. Was lots to keep us busy in the surrounding areas. The blue lake well worth finding.

Stayed one night. Enjoyed a day playing pitch and put and walking to Barmouth, with a boat and steam train back. The house was comfortable, with a fabulous room and a stunning ensuite, with bath tub for two. We ordered takeaway curry from Dollgelau and ate it outside watching a glorious sunset overlooking the estuary, on plates provided. Enjoyed fine... More

I did a lot of research looking for a site with a great location, good reviews, on the ground campfires, and great views. We booked for 4 nights and headed off. Before heading out the weather looked miserable but we went anyways and upon showing up, was glad we did. Site was pretty much exactly as I had pictured and... More

Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback! We were fully booked during your stay in the school summer holidays so we're glad you still felt you had enough breathing space. I was a disappointed to arrive at such a beautiful area to see our pitch which was slightly squashed alongside about 5 other cars and tents on a sort of dirt track. No open areas for our children to run and be free nearby since there were cars coming and going. There is also a fairly noisy and major road... More

We're sorry that your camping trip did not meet your expectations. It sounds like you would have preferred to pitch on our lower tent camping fields rather than at the top of the site near the vans. Our own Graig Wen web site does describe clearly that there are two quite different areas for tent camping. On the car-free lower... More

We have been visiting Graig Wen for six years and have both camped and stayed in a self catering cottage. It is a wonderful location overlooking the Mawdach Estuary. Sarah and John and all the staff are friendly and welcoming and the facilities perfect for a family holiday. We just keep going back we love it!
