Me and my girlfriend had an amazing 6 night stay at dusitD2 Hua Hin. Here are 3. reasons why.
1. The staff are amazing. They always greet you with a kind smile, offer to help you carry your stuff, open and hold doors for you, bring you free ice-tea in the lobby, wish you a good night sleep and in the morning, ask you how your night went. A special shout out to Toon Guitar for being so caring, kind and helpful to us. She even speaks Norwegian! We will never forget her smile, hospitality and look forward to coming back next year. As freequent travellers this is probably the best service we have experienced ever - anywhere in the world.
2. Large, modern room and a great, big bed. The rooms look lovely and have giant wall sized windows with a great view of the surrounding area. We had a hillside deluxe room on the seventh floor. The rooms have a cool, modern aesthetic, a fridge/minibar, you have the possibility to order room service (cocktails/food), and a big shower. The room also had somethibg called nightlight (every hotel should have this!!), which are low lights on the floor to make sure that you find your way to the bathroom at night without having to turn on the lights.
3. Gym, pool and bar. The gym is small, but has what you need. We had it to ourselves all 6 days. The pool is great and has pillowed couches for chilling/tanning. You get a new towel everyday. The pool is a but small, but big enough to swim a little bit and perfect for chilling. The bar is located next to the pool and from here you can purchse cocktails (happy hour 2 for 1 from 17-19), beer or food and enjoy while your tanning!
The location is a little bit remote, but at walking distance to two 7-elevens, multiple restaurants and both shopping malls. The first (15-20 min Norwegian long leg walk) has a big H&M and Uniqlo. It is close to the beach as well, but we recommend using the Bolt app (60-80 THB) to get closer to the centre.

I had a fantastic stay at dusitD2 hotel. The reception staff was friendly and attentive, the breakfast was excellent, and the room was both spacious and comfortable. The housekeeping team was outstanding, even providing an extension cord when needed. There was 24/7 hot water with strong pressure, and the hotel’s location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions. The swimming pool was an added bonus. Many thanks to Alicha, Penny and other reception staff and the bellboy Prakarat who were very helpful and made our stay a great vacation.

I've just returned from a wonderful holiday in Thailand. I had a short week at this hotel in Hua Hin, and it was a great experience. We were welcomed by a lot of smiling people, from the man who guarded the gate to the one at the door and those at the reception. All the staff were just smiles throughout our stay. We were given an incredibly good welcome drink, which I unfortunately didn't catch the name of. The rooms were large, nice, well-maintained, and very clean. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptional. There’s a nice pool area on the roof with great opportunities for sun and swimming. The hotel seems to be quite new, very well-maintained, and has a fresh, modern, and somewhat luxurious feel. The hotel is a bit outside the city center, but it costs 150 baht by taxi or tuk-tuk to get there, so it's no problem. There’s also a beautiful beach right across the street

Nice hotel, nice rooms. There is also a small terrace on the ground floor - a plus point. The restaurant, where breakfast is served as a buffet, has a very pleasant atmosphere and the dinner we had there was also delicious. A little bit further away from a lot of attractions and may not be suitable for those without transport. We were able to use the undercroft parking which is a bit small for the size of hotel, but there is parking outside if you can find space.
Being a reasonably new hotel, with its contemporary design, it was a pleasure to stay. The room was of a reasonable size, the TV had my name on it welcoming me and I found I could stream audio from my mobile device through it. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided along with a small fridge and hair dryer, etc.
The bathroom has a glass wall from the bedroom which for me I find a little wierd (not the first hotel I have stayed with this type of design feature), a walk in shower with no bath, and good lighting for my wife when she is doing her make up.
Great choice from the buffet breakfast, better at keeping hot more than other hotels that I have recently stayed at, but I always found it to be on the busy side so choosing a good table was not always an option.
The staff allways appeared to be pleased to help you.

The hotel is new and pleasant, the bed is comfortable and very satisfying. Breakfast also changed a little every day, so I could enjoy it without getting bored. It is a hotel with high satisfaction. The shopping center was also conveniently located about a 10-minute walk away. At 15 baht per person, even on Songtaew, it was enough to walk around the city.

A bit conflicted with this hotel. I really wanted to like it, but found it to be average at best. I will say that the staff were very nice. The hotel was clean and modern, almost to a fault. Maybe it's just a matter of personal preference, but honestly it felt to me a bit like staying at an Ikea showroom. For some reason there is a large viewing window from the bedroom into the water/rest room. There are three bright LED lights in the bedroom, so it's glowing in the room when trying to sleep. One of the LED's is directly over the bed, which was a bit maddening. The Check-in area at the entry is a total cluster and very crowded during check-in/check-out times, in particular. The sofa's in the lobby are set up right in the middle of the room and therefore sprays all the foot traffic to go around the sofa's. Unfortunately, one of the two ways around is right at the front desk and the other way is totally congested. The pool area was okay, although a bit small, with a lot of families with kids splashing around.

Another family and I booked 2 double rooms here for 3 nights.
I was upgraded for free to "deluxe king-size rooms" via booking .com. with free breakfast included.
I asked for a "higher floor" and was given the 7th, top floor, which was great and had nice views over the town and towards the hills in the distance.
The rooms were very spacious, immaculately clean, very modern. Shower room was a high standard.
And there was a mini bar in the room with soft drinks and beers at reasonable prices. The room service food menu also looked OK and not too pricey although we didn't use it.
I tried the tv but couldn't find any English speaking channels (or english subtitled)
Breakfast was very good each morning, help yourself buffet with lots of choice and with eggs and bacon toast etc as well as lots of thai/Asian choices and fruit, cereals cold meats, pastries etc enough to keep most people happy I'd imagine
All the staff in the whole hotel were very pleasant and helpful
The only thing that would have made it better for me would have been a balcony from the room. There are none on any of the rooms, so no where to sit outside privately and no where to have a cigarette. If you're a smoker (like my other family member) having to go down from the top floor to the ground to have a cigarette was a bit of a pain. But then again it's a bad habit and i HAD asked for a high floor 😊

There is a small internal courtyard garden on the ground floor thats shaded and overlooked by many hotel rooms, it has a shallow kids pool and nice plants with astro turf 'grass' , but not somewhere you'd choose to spend any real time in I don't think. The only smoking area is also on the ground floor next to the garden.
We used Bolt and Grab to get about in the area as its a little way outside the main tourist areas but the taxis are very cheap and efficient.
