Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Lapa Hotel has quite a unique location. There is a Bluport shopping mall next to it. And the hotel has a free shuttle service to bring you to anywhere within the town area only.

If you want to go to the beach and see the sun rise, it’s very convenient too. It’s just across the road only.

Unfortunately, though the room size is big but some basic stuff like tissue paper, they don’t provide in the room. And the shower knob can come off too. The hotel state that there is a gym room but it’s not open for use at all.

I also don’t think that their electrical plug point is able to support USB C power. As it can’t charge my iPad Pro. By using USB-A to USB-C then my iPad Pro is able to charge.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. Next to Blue Port Mall Conveniently find food The hotel provides shuttle service to the night market and Cicada. On the way back, there is a bus that stops in front of the hotel, so it is very convenient. The overall atmosphere is good, quiet, not chaotic. Even though it's not next to the sea, the hotel is decorated with a sandy beach and a large swimming pool.

The Lapa has a quite unique location, right next to the new BluPort mall. Free parking in front of the hotel.
The rooms are amazing, murals on the walls, brightly coloured tiles in the very modern bathroom. Showers tall with lots of space.
Very comfortable beds, fridge and safe deposit box in the room. A kettle with coffee and tea provided.
It's a really cozy room, with a sitting area at the window. Very clean and freshly painted.
Breakfast was good, nice extra is freshly blended fruit juice, which you can chose at a little stall.
This is a pet friendly hotel, so we met people travelling with their cats and a couple who brought 2 Yorkshire terriers. Unfortunately they yapped for while whilst the owners went for dinner, but all quiet at night 😊
A really nice place to stay, if you have a car it's not far from the beach or the Cicada Market.

NO ! Please don't waste your money in this place, the Wi-Fi doesn't work (although the staff claims it does, doesn't it) personally I lost 2 days working in (Smart working)
The breakfast is creepy, as Italians we have practically never eaten (and we love Thai food), there is almost nothing and the food is super poor.
The room smells of anything, smells of dirt, mold, sewer .. forget it.
And the shower? Best wishes! If you do not like cold water you are screwed, in 3 days of stay not even a hot shower.
All staff do NOT speak English, if you have any problems or requests they will not understand.
We asked (in person at reception) for a partial refund for our terrible stay, they told us yes, never arrived... even after 2 emails sent retrospectively, they simply ignored us.

Never again.

This hotel is the worst hotel I had ever stayed, The staffs are very unprofessional, they do not know how to treat their guests properly. They also tried to SCAM you by lying to us about the rate and facilities that we got. When we asked us for the payment receipt, they couldn’t give us the proper receipt, instead they just wrote the unofficial receipt by hand. BE CAREFUL with this hotel!!!

Had the opportunity to stay in Hua Hin with my mother last Mother's Day. We got a superior room with a very large bathtub. Mother likes it very much. Spacious hotel Cleanliness is a perfect 10. The atmosphere is good and the staff can give very detailed advice about tourist attractions. Thank you for the lovely trip on Mother's Day 😊

We booked this hotel as the other hotel which we always stay was hotel and price was in the same range.
As a result, this hotel was very terrible.

(1) The tap is improperly designed and water splashed to you when you open the water.

(2) They only served breakfast in the room. We stayed more than 14 nights in various other hotels through Thailand, but they all served food in the restaurant. Of course we had to appoint time to keep the social distance, but it is till fine for us. Having breakfast in the small room was very uncomfortable.

(3) The breakfast was already cold. They did not bring salt etc. We were not sure how we can have another cup of coffee in this style. We should have avoided breakfast and enjoyed nicer breakfast in the cafe outside.

(4) The gym was closed. We use gym to stay fit during trip so it was really disappointing that gym was closed or under maintenance. They did not say anything about that in their homepage. They showed nice gym photos in the homepage. We want some money back as we could not use the gym.

(5) English capability of the staff was terrible.

(6) Considering above, we paid too much for our stay.

Nice hotel a short walk from the beach & Cicada market with a shopping mall next door.
There is a free shuttle service to take you to and from the Cicada market and into town as well.

The hotel is clean, rooms are a nice size and the hotel staff are friendly & helpful.

Was staying with a wedding party. Firstly we were overcharged. The hotel didn't amend this until we had already returned to the UK. Also was charged for taking nexk pillows which I assumed was complementary (wasnt on the price list) which was not communicated when we checked out instead again we got billed after returning got the UK. The room we stayed in was ok. But could hear everything from adjacent rooms. Pool was mediocre. Breakfast was ok. Great location. But definitely wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel is not big. But the room is spacious and comfortable, the bed is soft. Reserved a room with a very good pool view, next to a large department store. Upon arrival, we stopped to collect our bags and go for a walk around the department store first. I don't know where to go, but the staff helps recommend famous restaurants. There is a car to take you to the Khao Takiab sea area as well. I really like it. If I have a chance to come to Hua Hin, I will use the service again.
