The Lapa has a quite unique location, right next to the new BluPort mall. Free parking in front of the hotel.
The rooms are amazing, murals on the walls, brightly coloured tiles in the very modern bathroom. Showers tall with lots of space.
Very comfortable beds, fridge and safe deposit box in the room. A kettle with coffee and tea provided.
It's a really cozy room, with a sitting area at the window. Very clean and freshly painted.
Breakfast was good, nice extra is freshly blended fruit juice, which you can chose at a little stall.
This is a pet friendly hotel, so we met people travelling with their cats and a couple who brought 2 Yorkshire terriers. Unfortunately they yapped for while whilst the owners went for dinner, but all quiet at night 😊
A really nice place to stay, if you have a car it's not far from the beach or the Cicada Market.

The Lapa Hotel has quite a unique location. There is a Bluport shopping mall next to it. And the hotel has a free shuttle service to bring you to anywhere within the town area only.

If you want to go to the beach and see the sun rise, it’s very convenient too. It’s just across the road only.

Unfortunately, though the room size is big but some basic stuff like tissue paper, they don’t provide in the room. And the shower knob can come off too. The hotel state that there is a gym room but it’s not open for use at all.

I also don’t think that their electrical plug point is able to support USB C power. As it can’t charge my iPad Pro. By using USB-A to USB-C then my iPad Pro is able to charge.

We booked this hotel as the other hotel which we always stay was hotel and price was in the same range.
As a result, this hotel was very terrible.

(1) The tap is improperly designed and water splashed to you when you open the water.

(2) They only served breakfast in the room. We stayed more than 14 nights in various other hotels through Thailand, but they all served food in the restaurant. Of course we had to appoint time to keep the social distance, but it is till fine for us. Having breakfast in the small room was very uncomfortable.

(3) The breakfast was already cold. They did not bring salt etc. We were not sure how we can have another cup of coffee in this style. We should have avoided breakfast and enjoyed nicer breakfast in the cafe outside.

(4) The gym was closed. We use gym to stay fit during trip so it was really disappointing that gym was closed or under maintenance. They did not say anything about that in their homepage. They showed nice gym photos in the homepage. We want some money back as we could not use the gym.

(5) English capability of the staff was terrible.

(6) Considering above, we paid too much for our stay.

Was staying with a wedding party. Firstly we were overcharged. The hotel didn't amend this until we had already returned to the UK. Also was charged for taking nexk pillows which I assumed was complementary (wasnt on the price list) which was not communicated when we checked out instead again we got billed after returning got the UK. The room we stayed in was ok. But could hear everything from adjacent rooms. Pool was mediocre. Breakfast was ok. Great location. But definitely wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel is the worst hotel I had ever stayed, The staffs are very unprofessional, they do not know how to treat their guests properly. They also tried to SCAM you by lying to us about the rate and facilities that we got. When we asked us for the payment receipt, they couldn’t give us the proper receipt, instead they just wrote the unofficial receipt by hand. BE CAREFUL with this hotel!!!

Bedrooms were clean and well kept. Good A/C. Not many channels on TV. Front of house staff ok. Didn't use hotel TUk tuk as only went to beach really. Breakfast not the best...east trying to make west. Good shopping mall next door to get breakfast if can wait til 10:00am. Bar/restaurant expensive (when open!) staff didn't like guests ' just having a drink'.... all in all, ok. Sure there's better though

Quiet hotel but in excellent location
Good sized rooms, comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms and wifi a/c all good. Staff were excellent and responsive. Good choice at breakfast. Near a large mall. Across a quiet road. Yet the hotel is so quiet. Great place to relax

We went there with 5 adults and 1 child staying at Duplex. We booked it directly to the hotel. This is the forth times we came to this place. We used to love it so much but things has changed here. Staffs, especially receptionists and waiting staffs in the restaurants, are terrible. The receptionist named Thanawat Muenming gave us the most uncomfortable moment since we arrived. He should not be working in a service industry if he has no service mind. The cost per night is THB9,000, normally THB12,000, which is the hotel promotion. When we checked-in, we asked Thanawat for the Duplex2 where we stayed everytime but he said another guest already booked that room and we were unable to choose because we paid it cheaper. And Thanawat insisted that we have to pay 1,000 for the extra bed for the 5th person, we had no problem and paid for it. The next day when the guests in Duplex2 checked-in, we happened to talk to them and found out that they never requested for any specific room and there are total 10 guests staying in Duplex2 without having to pay for extra person charges. We don't mind paying but staff should treat everyone equally. Yes we paid cheaper because it was the hotel's promotion, not that we begged for the cheaper ones.

One last thing, the pool was very dirty and the library was also very dusty. If they want to charge the room this expensive, they should maintain the quality and service at acceptable level.

There're hundred of hotels in Hua Hin, we recommend you to try out other places if you do not want them to ruin your holidays.

when we arrived we had a shock it is next to a huge building site and the noise and dust is horrendous , we complained and asked why was the fact of the building site on the hotel website as we would not have booked it had we known , we were offered a spa treatment as compensation but then offered an upgrade? Well some upgrade the room was a little bit more remote from the noise but the paint was peeling from the walls above the bed and it smelt damp (air con not good) we then asked to speak to the manager and they offered to refund the cost of one night , we did have the option of finding another hotel but as it was the King of Thailands birthday all the decent hotels had been booked so we are stuck , as this was the climax of a holiday and meant to be relaxing it was far from that, we asked them about one of the suites which seemed to be empty but got told it was too much to upgrade ,
The free shuttle is only at certain times and to certain destinations so not really a bonus, they put on free snacks in the cafe from 15.30 to 17.00 and gave you one beer one cola and one pack of crisps in the room to compensate for the disruption but I would have preferred not to have put up with it , the rooms are not clean there is black mould around the sink and the floors are not clean and the bedding was not changed , we were pleased to leave . stay away until building stops there are better places.
