Just stay during Government Relief Campaign Program from Covid 19.

We stayed room type of 2-Bedroom Suite for 2 nights.

We experienced somethings in the room not perfectly worked such as Washing Machine (Leaking and Smell !!!!! may be not used for few months) Lamp (with no light) , Fridge (lower door not closed 100%), Poor TV signal in master bedroom, etc.

I think we could not much blame on hotel since they have been closed for a big while from Covid 19.

Many people love swimming but not fitness as I could see our balcony from 6th floor.

Cicada Market can be reached by foot within 7-10 minutes.

Hotel provides free shuttle to Beach, BluPort, HuaHin Village Market, Bus Station, Night Market.

I love free coffee with snacks ( ABC Biscuit and Pineapple Biscuit).

7-11 not far the hotel.

Hotel is not located at beachfront but we could walk to beach just across street near alley of Ibis Hotel.

Feel like service apt not hotel.

Love this place. We booked initially for 10 days but liked it so much added another 14 days. The rooms are large and well-fitted out, spotlessly clean. Big comfortable beds with lovely fresh linen. The housekeeping is excellent with daily refills of toiletries, coffee etc. There is a lovely shady garden, a very nice big pool and a gym. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located for easy access to Hua Hin sights and nearby are shops and restaurants. 7 11 two minutes walk. You do get a lot for your money here. I would have given 5 stars but the shower pressure was poor, the WiFi hit and miss and the garden could be improved with more loungers available. It's still a fab place.

Decided to stay an extra night in Hua Hin on the Sunday of the long weekend. Very difficult to find accommodation for 10 of us at short notice as it was a busy period. Called Nice Residence and they said we can just walk in, no need to book. That should have been a warning.

It’s not a great hotel just like many of the reviews have highlighted. Reminiscent of a cheap condo, it’s not got much to offer esthetically. One thing that it has got going for it is that it’s pretty clean, even if a little gritty.

Grumbles:

Price: THB 4,200 for family room sleeps 4 people. THB 2,100 for double room. Much better value to be had in Hua Hin. This is 2-3 star and so about double the price it should be compared to similar hotels within 5km.

Breakfast: not included. American breakfast available to buy at the restaurant but not worth the additional charge.

Deposit: need to leave a deposit with reception for your keys to the value of 25% of the room charge. Can only be cash, doesn’t accept cards for this. I was sent walking for an ATM.

Redeeming features:

Family rooms: pretty large with kitted out kitchen. This is useful given the breakfast situation.

Location (maybe at a stretch): near to the market, 500m down the road. Near to Vana Nava Water Park, 600m down the road. However, nothing very close and hotel sandwiched between 2 motorways with no access to the beach.

Large pool: good if you have kids as the size means they don’t disturb other residents.

Summary:

A short stay is ok, but not if you have any other options. Its fine but Hua Hin spoils you with choice so much better value and facilities available nearby.

They do NOT care about their customers nor do they care about their staff. All they care about is profit and they will be as cheap as they possibly can with you to save an extra dime. Obviously this will cost them long term instead because of disappointed customers.

Here's why you should stay away from this place:
- Customer service and customer care is the worst I've ever come across at a hotel.
- Horrible management/owners who do not know how to hire and train their staff.
- Cannot get cleaning on time.
- Shuttle service is not guaranteed, some days it they will drive you some days not.
- Internet not guaranteed and was down for over a week. Instead of apologizing and promise to fix it, one of the owners called the police! Talk about being afraid of confrontation and critique. Well, thank you Internet.
- Nothing is negotiable, the owners must really hate money and love to piss off customers.
- The the management is extremely tight, cannot even offer an extra sheet for the beds.
- New staff every other week, only few could speak a few words of English, the rest are completely clueless and untrained. Most staff seems to quit after a few weeks, probably because they are not treated well by the greedy owners.
- Gym is decent at most, a few old broken machines and a short set of dumbbells. You have to bring your own card to get AC.
- You are only given 1 key card to the room, even if you stay long term. It is ridiculously cheap.
- Cheap and tasteless interior.

Oh, and of course they have cockroaches too.

This hotel should not be allowed on any hotel site, it's pure sham.

I and my wife stayed three weeks in an apartment at the hotel in December 2016. The hotel was newly built and advertising boasted; large pool, free gym and free wifi.
The first visual impression of the hotel was also positive, but pretty quickly we became aware of the error, and not least the staff's behavior as totally lacked the ability, knowledge and desire to correct the things that were not to their liking.
For example: We only had four hangers in the closet for two people. We asked for some extra, but could not. Despite repeated observation, we got none.
We asked for extra sheets to have instead of the warm blanket, but it was certainly not alone.
A lamp in our room was broken, but after examination by the lamp, nothing happened despite the remark several times.
The apartment had microwave and washing machine, but lacked a hob and a coffee maker. How can you cook without a stove plate? Otherwise was missing most of the kitchen.
After a few days the wi-fi disappeared and was gone an entire week. We had to buy phone cards to communicate with the outside world.
The pool was completely in the shade all day, which of course was not the staff's problem, but a clear abuse of the architects.
The reception staff, except for one woman who was there at times, did not know a word of English. It was usually impossible to make yourself understood, because none of us can speech Thai. And this in a tourist hotel!
We had paid a deposit of 20,000 baht. These could not be paid, when we checked out. A relative who was staying at the hotel had to sort that out for us. Remember not to get back their deposited money.
Probably the staff had their hands tied behind their backs, and did not take any of your own decisions but ruled by someone / some who sat at another location and had engaged in the wrong business.
Our review can only be the worst possible, and a determined dissuasion from taking up this newly built, but totally charmless hotels. Well, there was a positive thing and it was the driver who drove the hotel hotel skyttel.

This is a budget hotel and we knew this when booking. Our regular hotel was sold out so we took a chance on this as we knew the area. Big mistake. Yes, it is a relatively new facility, but that's it. As soon as I arrived, I got a negative vibe. The reception was cold and inefficient. They didn't even say thank you and goodby when we checked out. One overworked, frazzled desk clerk with another fellow who seemed to do nothing. The building is not soundproof and is located behind a busy highway and near a rail line. It's not located near any restaurants so be prepared to walk or take a sangthaw. The room was nice enough. Nothing fancy, but fine. The bathroom was utilitarian. Beware the bed frame. Very dangerous. I had bloodied and battered shins after a day. (See the picture). Who in his right mind installs a bed frame bigger than the mattress and that has sharp edges? The room safe is too small for a laptop computer. Why bother putting in the box if it can't hold a computer? Cleanliness doesn't seem to be a priority here. The elevator wall/window was covered in grimey fingerprints and the floor wasn't mopped in the few days we were there. The internet speed averaged 1.8-2 mbps, which rendered it useless. There is supposedly a breakfast on offer, an option of eggs, institutional mystery meat sausage, orange coloured water and a piece of toast or a watery congee. What an unappetizing inedible farce. Same thing every day. What's the point? There really isn't any reason to pick this hotel as there are many other hotels in the area, all of whom offer superior value and of IMO better quality. There is an Ibis of the Accor chain across the street which offers a superior experience. I certainly would not recommend this hotel or stay again.

I cannot fathom why they cant put someone in the reception who speaks English. I almost miss my flight because it took them literally almost an hour to fix my check out. I could write down a list of things that went wrong but they are not worth my time. Just done.

From the pictures, we thought, this looks like a really nice place for quite a reasonable price. However we learned that you get what you pay for. The price is reasonable because the place is very basic. I guess it is actually a "residence" that people can live long term in, and part of it is used as a hotel. It's definitely not what I would call a resort. Inside the room the decor was actually not bad, and had just about everything you would want. (Except the wifi was terrible, almost unusable - we ended up having to go to the lobby for wifi every day). Some complaints for the room though: No hot water (it was barely luke warm), One chair on the balcony (they said they didn't have any more), one towel hook, air conditioner very loud and bright at night - difficult to sleep with it on. The grounds were well kept, but the design is awful. The pool area receives virtually no sun all day, so the pool is cold, and you can forget about suntanning. Avoid the breakfast as it is pathetic. We paid for breakfast-included but only ate it once... it really was a poor attempt at providing a western breakfast. Hallways are stark-white with no decoration (almost looks like it's unfinished). From your balcony you have lovely views of the empty lot next door and how it is being used as a garbage dump. Worse than the place itself is the staff, who range from disinterested to rude. Part of me can't blame them because we saw the same people working 24 hours a day. Management is definitely cutting costs with this place. Shuttle bus never seemed to be operating. I just can't recommend staying here when there is far better, even for a similar price.

Location: There are no good restaurants near this hotel but easy access for local taxi. We didn't know that beside of this hotel was a temple which some of us are scared of ghosts so they are not able to sleep properly. lol

Service: Service in the front desk is really bad. They put us on a cheaper room but it's good thing that we remember the photos of our room so they can't say no and gave us the right room. I heard someone complain about their room and the front desk just replied that another customer has the same problem and didn't provide solution. The shuttle service driver doesn't seems care about customer service and only shows up if he wants to work. It is good that the hotel is on the main road which you can easily ride with public transportation. The room cleaners are pretty nice though.

Room: The room design is good and clean but feels like cheap materials and not properly build so I think mold will show up soon in the bathroom. I agree that the bed is not safe, we put sofa pillows on the bed corner so we don't accidentally hit it. We take two rooms and only one room has washing machine.

Facility: Swimming pool is great and clean

Price: It is average but I think you can find a better place than this hotel with the same price, you just only need to book 3 months in advance. Internet is very slow on our room, it is even slow even if there's no pic/video on the website.

Summary: I don't really mind about waiting time in the front desk but I will not be back to this hotel because they assign us (accidental or not) on a cheaper room, unsafe bed, missing driver of shuttle service and some of us are afraid of ghost :-)

Terrible services provided by Nice Residence Hotel! Staffs are forever busy with their own works, they do not even bother to serve guests standing over the counter, they just leave few guests standing there and wait for them to finish their forever important tasks. Receptionist in the hotels knows only minimal English, sometimes it is so difficult to communicate with them.

Hotel claimed to provide free shuttle service on various websites. But in reality they DO NOT! When we have just arrived in Hua Hin, we called the hotel for shuttle service to their hotel as we have difficulty in reaching the place, their response was NO NO NO NO NO NO, WE NO PROVIDE SHUTTLE SERVICE.

When we confronted front desk, they say they will only provide a ONE WAY SHUTTLE SERVICE to various points in Hua Hin. Ok Fine. So we booked for the shuttle service ONE NIGHT before departure. The next day, when we say that we have booked for a shuttle service already, and guess what the front desk says to us, Miss, you have to wait for 1 hour as our driver has just gone out. What is this?? I have booked one night before and now you tell us your driver has gone out and asked me to wait for an hour!?

We were not the only group of people waiting for the shuttle service, there are other caucasian guest and japanese guests waiting for it too. After confrontation, then only they were willing to ask their driver to send us to the place we want to go. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PROVIDE FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE, THEN DO NOT STATE ON ALL WEBSITES THAT YOU PROVIDE THAT!

We booked a family junior suite, it is supposed to come with a washing machine. But our room was without one! Internet was very poor!

Staffs' attitude was very bad, no sorry, no thank you. They do not have any service mind! Seriously, avoid this hotel at all cost!!!
