We stayed at the Napalai Resort guest house very good value booked through Agoda
Pros: Good Location, 2 mins walk to beach
Large modern room with balcony TV and fridge and ensuite
Cons: The receptionist/cleaner speaks very little English - we were 5 days into our stay before we understood that we could have a free "pool pass" at the Napalai just around the corner.
Cleaning of the room was not up to standard
Soundproofing was almost non-existent - for this reason we would not return

One night stay as stopover from our drive from Samui. Simple but nice & comfortable room. Rooms were clean and nicer than expected looking at what you pay (we payed 1800 Bath/night incl. BF). Good value for money! Good size pool with separate area for the kids. Only small complaint: No umbrella's so very hot during midday! Breakfast simple but a nice variety and fresh. Location close to Khao Takieb and 5 min from Hua Hin center. Would stay again for stopover and recommended if you look for something good and well priced!

we traveled 3 hours from bangkok to enjoy hua hin's paradise, yeah it maybe far but its all worth it. we had fun staying in this hotel, apart from the location, its very discreet and breath taking views make u feel brand new.. if u stay in this hotel u will have to rent a bike to discover hua hin's paradise. This hotel is 300 meters away from the beaches and few kilometers away from the elephant, crocodile and snake shows. Do not forget to go to monkey mountain to complete ur stay. One more thing u should rent a jet ski to go to another island and that is worth remembering..this is a Sophisticated hotel, clean room, good amenities and the people serving us the food were awesome, respectful and friendly people. i could not ask for more... we were able to see lots of temples for this place is surrounded with temples and buddhas. we were very satisfied

Booked three nights in this hotel on a very good deal,was given a lovely spacious room with a Thai hard mattress but stayed in this country enough times to be bothered by that. Staff were lovely except for sour faced manageress/owner Wonderful aircon. BUT. NO FREE INTERNET IN ROOMS ONLY IN MOSQUITO INFESTED RECEPTION HALL They charge 100 baht for 30 minutes in room but who knows when you wanted to check something out online ,tried using reception in evening but as they leave windows open and aircon off place was swarming with the little buggers couldnt last more than five minutes there.
I am so angry and dissapointed because as I was going to extend my stay in Hua Hin by another 14days this hotel was very much in the running because of a couple of resterants nearby I love.
If they changed their policy on the wifi I would definatly stay their again but if they dont NO WAY

This place is very average indeed. The rooms, although spacious and clean, are basic and sparsely decorated as is the rest of the hotel. Not much luxury here. The staff, for the most part, cannot even be bothered to look at you. Not much friendliness there.
The breakfast is average, although the presence of an egg-chef is a welcome treat.
The most annoying aspect is the extortionate prices they charge for the rooms. You can get the same type of room for less than half the price just a few yards up the road (which we did).
Also they try to rip you off by asking for crazy amounts of money to provide Wi-Fi in your room.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It's not good value for money so shop around.

Good impressions:
- The room is very clean;
- The bath size in the deluxe room is large enough;
- The room can be made up at any time as asked, good room service;
- The staff is very friendly;
- It was quiet, no children screaming, no disturbing noises;
- The bicycles in the lobby can be used 24 hours;
- There is a good bus/taxi (song-taew) station nearby;
- The beach is at walking distance.

Bad impressions:
- The breakfast is not fresh: rotten vegetables, instant coffee, soft drinks instead of juices;
- One bicycle had no breaks, mom got crashed into a dog on the beach;
- The shower water comes out slowly, bad balance of hot and cold waters;
- No free wi-fi in the rooms;
- No bathrobes and slippers in the deluxe room;
- No Russian TV channels;
- There is no Spa in the hotel.

Nice clean hotel with clean room. Breakfast ok but not so much to choose from. They overcharge to use the internet. Across the street is a small "traveling agency". They took us for a whole day to see Pala U waterfalls at a cost of 1800 bahts for 2 people, the same price to se Sam Roi Yod National Park a whole day and then they threw in a temple and a nice beach for the same price, nice and cheap! Across the street a bit to the right is a lokal restaruant mostly visited by thais wo cook really good and cheap food. Try! This hotel is a few kilometers from Hua hin but the green buses operate 07.00-21.00 from the small square a bit down the road at your left from the hotel (cross the bridge) and they are a really cheap way to go in to Hua Hin (10 B/pers and 15B after 19.00. The beach is really nice and long if you pass the first restaruant. We used the one next to last to rent sunbeds (50 B/day) and the massage at this place was nice and cheap (300 B/hour)

I believe that you get what you pay for and that was definitely true here. It was very cheaply priced which was nice, the room was fine and enough for my needs but it was all pretty basic. I realise that I stayed here in the low season but it was disappointing that the restaurant or bar wasn't open so I was unable to even get a drink by the pool. Would be great to have some vending machines for the low season so that I could at least get something.
There was demolition going next door, right over the wall from the pool which is absolutely not the hotels fault but didn't make for a relaxing day by the pool.
Probably a little misleading to call itself a Resort and Spa as there wasn't much resorty or spa-y about it.
It is nice and close to a few eating places, temples, monkey mountain, beach and just round the corner where the songthaews left from which was a brilliant and easy way to get into town.
