This hotel which is located along the river was tranquil and quiet. The lodges set in beautiful grounds which were well maintained. The pool was lovely but not much good for swimming in but had a lovely view over the lake. The rooms were cozy but adequate and a mosquito net was supplied, fortunately, as its not easy keeping them out the room, you are based in the jungle next to a river. Restaurant is open but well ventilated with fans. Reasonable menu and good quality food. Quiet night and comfortable bed. Breakfast was buffet style reasonable choice and adequate.

Spent only 1 night here as part of a tour but really enjoyed the setting beside the river and very close to what some described the jungle. Like all the hotels I stayed in in Thailand the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit tired and I certainly used the mosquito net over the bed. But WOW proper bacon at breakfast

Stayed here to access Lampang city. Quaint accommodation and there are a number of positives. Positives are that has beautiful gardens and old style accommodation. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful. Negatives - services are limited and not in line with the website. Asked for drinks menu and attendant simply recited the three beers they had on offer. I noticed another guest ask for cocktail list and then a basic spirit drink without success. They didn’t even have lemonade for a teenage girl who ended up having to be satisfied with water. The biggest inconvenience is if you don’t have transport they will arrange transport, but at four times the going rate. Luckily we were able to get Grab most of the time, but on one occasion we couldn’t get Grab and had to pay the extorted rate. It is in a jungle like setting so be prepared for frogs in the toilet and lizards on doors as happened to my wife when she went to use the pool toilet. I also understand the need to maintain the garden, but we returned the first morning from the city and they were busy chainsawing trees down. This went on for all afternoon with loud crashing noises too as big branches hit the ground. Unable to relax we thought they might entertain supplying a couple of drinks to compensate. They pondered, sought advice from manager and finally said we could have a couple of free drinks that night at the restaurant for the disruption. Turned up that night and were given 2 orang juices. I am afraid I wouldn’t stay here again.

This appeared to be one of the better options for an overnight stay. Reception was friendly, grounds are beautiful, pool welcoming. Room was clean and somewhat basic, but our wood cabin had a charm to it - it was certainly comfortable (but the bed was overly firm). Dinner menu was OK in their restaurant and price was very reasonable. Breakfast was adequate for the price that we paid - not much choice and everything seemed to have been prepared in advance. For a one night stay it was fine.

So its a jungle style resort and the grounds are very pretty, the swimming pool is nice and the evening meal was excellent. The bad points: the beds are extremely hard, my hips and back in the morning were awful. When we went to leave they insisted we wait while house keeping checked the room to see if we have taken anything or used the mini bar (we said we hadn’t) we were really offended by this and left us with a bad feeling, for this reason alone I would not return.
