My title and rating says it all. Didn't know what to expect when i was walking up the side to this hotel, as soon as i opened the door was greeted by a friendly smile and welcomed in. stayed just for the 1 night and the only word i can i use to describe the room was WOW. Certainly didn't expect what i found when i opened the door. The rooms are so fresh and modern, has awesome mod cons in the room, free wifi, free bottle of water. The breakfast made such a lovely start to the day (and this is coming from a bit who is use too a cooked breakfast lol) and the breakfast room was stunning.
Couldn't recommend a hotel more.

Spent the night at Ferro di Cavallo. The room was spacious and modern and very clean and quiet. What really set it apart was the service. They couldn't have been more helpful. In the morning when it was time to leave our motorcycle had a flat tire and Piña, the receptionist called her friends to come help us out and we were on the road in an hour. Capuchins s were on the house while we waited. We would go back in a heart beat. Highly recommended!

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at on a 10 day cycling trip in Italy. Even though this is a small town without many attractions near Modena the hotel was absolutely beautifully appointed. The rooms are very cleanly decorated with modern euro styled fittings. We had a spacious balcony. The shower was super powerful. WIFI worked great.
We arrived on bicycles and they showed us down to the garage below to store them.
The lady who runs the hotel (I suspect is the owner) is the warmest, most welcoming individual I have met in a hotel. Always smiling, she was a pleasure to deal with. She took great care of us and went to lengths to orientate us to the town and point out a couple of restaurants for the evening meal.
Breakfast was super with the attentive owner offering us as much as we wanted. Ham turned out to be a plate of the most delicious Parma (very close) ham which was melt in your mouth delicious.

We had been driving all day from Tuscanny and were looking for a place to stay outside a major city center. Pavullo is close to Modena. This hotel was perfect; economical, modern, clean, friendly, family operated. the adjacent restaurant , Bagaglino, served a tasty affordable meal.

The room itself was updated, clean, and pleasing to the eye. Not over the top, just European simplicity and comfort. The staff was helpful and pleasant. We arrived after a long delayed-ridden journey and this place was just what we needed. The complimentary breakfast was delicious as well. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I have just got back from what can only be described as the most peaceful and fun holiday I have been on. From arriving at this lovely little hotel we were treated fantastically. Our room was too our needs, had a balcony which contained a lovely view of the mountains and Pavullo. The facilities within the room were extremely clean and well maintained. There was a mini fridge in our room which did come in handy several times when it was very hot in the middle of the night, during amazing thunder storms.
The breakfast in the morning again was exactly what I was expecting from a Italy hotel, we had boiled eggs, fruit, croissants, cakes, nuts, ham, salami and cheese. There was also cereal there if you so wished.
The owner/hostess of the hotel was one of the loveliest people I have ever had the chance to meet, I feel I have improved my Italian no end due to her tutoring.
Stay here for peace, quiet and tranquillity and fantastic base in the middle of everywhere and this gorgeous town.

Meandering our way down from Innsbruck - horrid place to our final destination in Italy and landed for a night at Ferro di Cavalio. Wonderful staff, made dog welcome as well as ourselves. Gorgeous open large room, with great shower and two balconies. Funny location in a residential area, but very quick walk into main village. Breakfast was great, very fresh, and wonderful bed. I'd love to stay again but not sure why I would go to that area?

Room spacious , clean , and complete with all comforts
Large bathroom.
Very good breakfast.
Too bad you can only get 5 stars because I think it deserves more.
