Clean room, comfortable bed, heating OK, food is fine, large TV screen, a lot of channels. The room has a balcony. It is near the main road. They have parking. I recommend to stay here. I will go there for sure.

The rooms were just ok. Internet not great, but the worst is that we were surrounded by tons of bus tours from China and the breakfast that was offered included, was not western. The staff were fine though. Price was cheap!

Good position, nice clean rooms , stayed there 4 times, although more and more Chinese are staying there so a little noisy and they hoike at the side of the pool so I won't be going back in there . Still my friends own a small Local True Thai Restaurant across the road and down about 100 mtrs called "Lans Thai and European Food and Drinks " , so for a change from the Restaurant at the Hotel it is a nice change and not far for anyone to walk to. They have drinks there , great Thai food, and Lan cooks great Pork Chops and Dumplings for Europeans too as her Husband is German.
Also you can jump on a local open Taxi and travel all the way to Walking Street for 10 Baht , good spot away from all the noise.

We stayed here for three nights and on arrival were pleased to have chosen this particular hotel with great location.Far enough away from the bars but only a short walk or baht bus to catch the action. We were given a large room with modern fittings and good elevated view over the swimming pool. The bed was large and comfortable .The bed linen was new and in good condition and had been well laundered as were the bath towels.
The bathroom was large enough and the shower was powerful and the water had good pressure.
The downfall to this hotel is the lack of presence of any management around the reception area or duty manager patrolling around to check on things.
There were signs displayed clearly pointing out that 'no food or drink from outside to be consumed around the pool or garden areas.'
I came down on the second morning to find that the Chinese contingent that had arrived by coach the previous evening had deposited loads of garbage around the pool area , in particular they had dumped plastic bags containing their last meal on the floor , numerous empty beer bottles and made worse by all the number of cigarette butts that had been thrown everywhere...have the photos to prove it..! I advised the reception at 4.30 am whilst taking an early morning strole , they appeared not that bothered and had no idea as to what I was referring although I went on to tell them 'in thai' that this was not acceptable and that it was filthy dirty customers such as these culprits that give a hotel a bad name! This hotel is totally sold over to the tour operators from Main land China , and Korea with a few Russians chucked in for good measure.
The buffet breakfast was quite acceptable . However , here it comes...I was disgusted and on the third day I literally gave up on the idea of having a breakfast as I had been totally put off my food..! I can only describe it as an awful experience trying to fight your way to the breakfast bar and then having to sit there watching 200 Chinese (eating like a swarm of starving locusts) shovelling as much food in to their mouths in the shortest possible time , food flying everywhere , on the floor , on the table , piling their plates with food that I'm sure only half got eaten and the rest found it's way either in their bags or went to the scraps bin..! I and my family were disgusted and shocked.
The other major problem with this hotel is the total lack of discipline. The chinese were shouting from the roof tops down to their friends on the pool deck at the tops of their voices in the daytime and in to the early evening. I was told 'the owner was on site and living in one of the apartment rooms' I wonder whether perhaps he was either stone deaf or could not hear over the noise of the money counter 'sifting the bills ' that were obviously pouring in from all the tour buses that I counted 'in and out ' one arrives and another leaves.
Perhaps out of season when the tours are not present this hotel would have a different feel to it and certainly the living and eating experience has to be different..!
My last criticisme pertaining to the attitude of certain staff towards my wife (a resident Thai National ) On a number of occasions the staff would cold shoulder her and glance in a way that was far from friendly.! I saw for myself when she was returning from the front steps of the hotel after returning from doing some market shopping , one of the security guards shouted to her " what are you doing and where are you going in this hotel ?" She replied somewhat startled and taken back by this questioning "actually I'm staying here with my husband and daughter !"
The security should be more on the ball and concentrate on keeping the Chinese guests under control and check on their literring pursuits. One pool attendant did actually bring one chinese boy to call concerning an incident wherevy a chinese guest was sitting around the pool and he decided to put both legs and feet on the table and was told ' to take your feet off the table '..Where was the Management..sleeping..? It's a shame that these hotels sell themselves out to the tour operators especially the Koreans and Chinese who are capable of destroying a hotel , it's surroundings and it's reputation in one short day..! They have no respect for others around , fellow guests who have paid and want to enjoy their time quietly and repsectfully of others. The Chinese spit and shout , throw everything including their cigaretts on the floor..and quite frankly don't care a damn about others. I have very good Chinese friends but they are educated and cultured , which is why I was so taken back by this episode.......

I recently booked online and experienced an script error after payment completion. It did not direct me back to the merchant website. When I called up Crystal Palace reception, the call-desk staff speaks poor English and I have great difficulty understanding them. The call-desk staff was unhelpful and unable to tell me what was going on. She kept saying that the hotel booking was in charge by another agent and I had to contact this agent to check up my booking (The problem is I dont even know which agent to contact). This really puzzled me. Price was cheap though.

The hotel consists of 2 buildings. I don't know what rooms in the old building look like, but as far as I heard they are quite small and none of them has a balcony.
I checked out the reviews on this hotel before booking so I preferred a room in the new building (deluxe room). The interior was modern and didn't look tired at all. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were always clean and changed often if not daily. The bathroom had both a tub and a shower, but neither of them had a curtain or glass door, and every time after I took a shower there was a puddle on the floor that didn't dry for a few hours.
Breakfast was always the same, so if you are going to stay 3+ days, be prepared to get tired of the breakfast choice. Plus, I was really surprised not to see any cheese for breakfast.
Complimentary wi-fi in all deluxe rooms is a nice touch.
I would say it is a good value-for-money option, but not now...A part of old building is being demolished at the moment, and if you are seeking peace and tranquility, you'd find none :)

Extremely basic hotel, rooms are simple and cleaning service is not good. Breakfast doesn’t have too many options besides chinese food and some bread. Far away from the beach. I won’t recommend it at all.

There are several blocks in the hotel. We stayed in superb (I believe it was called smth like this). The room was large and nice. Cleaning was good although one time we failed to reach understanding with the staff and our room remained uncleaned.
The best thing about the hotel is food. It's diverse, mostly thai-oriented and usually ok for European tastes (not so spicy), yet there are some hot foods. The hotel is close to the local public transport lines (pickup trucks with seats in the trunk), however, the way to the sea was tiresome and confusing. There are some services in the hotel like massage or souvenir shops. We've tried massage it was ok, but a little bit more expensive (300 bath instead of 250, 1.5 US dollars difference) than in most other places. Roomers are mostly package tourists from China (~70%) and Russia (~25%). WI-FI coverage was not perfect and it stopped working in our room in the end of our stay. So we had to go downstairs to the lobby to get Internet access. Fine warnings about not hanging wet clothes in the wardrobe and other staff are annoying.
