Went here today 5/10/14 to meet my cousins who were home from New Hampshire on holiday. Very disappointed with food and service. What was supposed to be fresh fish was tired and tasteless, vegetables were pureed like baby food, chicken was dry and felt like it had been heated in microwave. Desserts unimaginative. Service was very poor and everything we...

A large group of us stayed for 2 nights in September on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis for what was a really excellent price. I did wonder what we'd get to eat at that price but was pleasantly surprised. Three courses of beautifully cooked local produce certainly filled the gap. And with the breakfast being self service we really...

Beautiful old building, full of character. Fantastic staff, couldn't do enough for us. The food is to die for and the surroundings are just magical, Connemara is breath taking. We'll be back for sure - with the dog and the baby :-)

second visit to this hotel. Absolutely fabulous food - mouthwatering feast of a banquet every single evening - five courses and everyone of those courses a delight. Hotel situated in beautiful countryside. Village a minute's walk with shops, little museum, eateries and pubs - all adding to the absolute charm of the place.

Stayed for two nights. Staff very friendly and welcoming. View from bedroom is amazing. Facilities at the hotel are good, food lovely, the choice for the breakfast buffet was varied, loved the smoked salmon. I really liked the big sitting room, it's cosy and yet spacious. If you want to get away from it all this hits the spot. Will...

Stayed here for three nights. Had stopped for lunch in the past and thought that a longer stay might be nice. We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is old but in a very nice way. The room was furnished with old but appropriate furniture. The view was wonderful. We ate all our meals in the hotel and...

Stayed here with my girlfriend for a night. The hotel its self at first glance seems old and outdated but once you get inside it becomes quant and rustic. The room we had had a great view of the fjord, and the garden across the road. This made out stay. Another huge plus was the food and staff. Both were...
