We got married in early December at Summerhill, we had guests from all over Ireland and the UK, and mainland Europe. Every single guest was super impressed at the wedding, the fantastic welcoming staff, the food, the rooms and overall had a first class customer experience. We (bride and groom) also stayed here in October and found everything to be...

Forgot my glasses when I checked out on the second day of a two day course. Came back an hour later and asked can I call up to the room to pick them up. They said no but took my number and said they'd call. When the course was finished I waited around for half an hour but reception was...

Had a lovely stay here with my family, 5 minute walk from the lovely town of enniskerry and 10 minute walk from the Powercourt gardens. The house itself is old fashioned in style but it's perfect for a nice relaxing stay. Also the spa behind the house was a nice touch.

Don't stay overnight if a wedding is taking place there. Myself and daughters went on a much needed overnight break. However we were kept awake most of the night by loud guests from the wedding party who decided to sit outside our bedroom door laughing and shouting for ages. We rang reception and they did come down straight away and...

We just stayed at this hotel for one night after coming off the Holyhead/Dublin ferry. We stayed in one of the rooms outside of the main hotel. Although it was like a small apartment the double bedroom was very tiny. The lift that takes you down to our room level was not working, as was the air-conditioning unit in the...

We arrived a little late but the staff were very understanding. I was unaware that the room i booked was not in the actual hotel but instead beside it in what are call courthouses. We were a little disappointed with the room, very small and stark and to add to that our TV was not working. I called reception and...

We stayed in the summerhill house hotel on the vintage stay break and were disappointed with both the spa and the hotel. We paid extra for afternoon tea which was €15 each and both the setting and the food weren't great. The staff serving it were very friendly. The room was quite nice As was the evening dinner- however they...

We stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Dublin/Wicklow/Enniskerry. Location perfect for Powerscourt House and Gardens, and Bray seafront, and Wicklow National Park. Bed comfortable, breakfast great. However, the hotel is in need of modernisation, looking a little tatty round the edges. All in all, a good little hotel.

Stayed overnight after a wedding. Management need to look at a few basic things. Starting from the bar: selling German (bad) fizzy wine called Pur Secco as prosecco for 39EUR a bottle is a no-no. But hey, I'm not going to kick up a fuss in front of the other guests, am I? When paying 140EUR for an overnight stay,...

We stayed for a wedding in a family room in the main building of the hotel. We paid the wedding rate of 160 euro which I thought was way overpriced The room itself was beautiful with a double and 2 single beds, it also had 2 bathrooms. No complaints about the room however breakfast was a bit disappointing the next...
