Arrived late friday evening to a beautiful house with gorgeous stone drive. Also garden is so cute. Warm welcome, shown around b&b-comfortble sitting room and opportunity to make pot of tea and even percolated coffee! Professional or what! Room was very comfy and super clean. Shower was a refreshing break from the norm-with plenty power and heat. Breakfast was best...

Lovely lovely people :) Excellent service, the place was tidy and clean! Beautiful house looking charming from outside and very cozy inside. The bathroom - which is usually a critical part of the accommodation - was good as new and spotless. Breakfast was amazing, most of their stuff was home made, fresh and tasted heavenly :) Free parking, free wireless,...

This is a great B&B less than 3 hours drive from Dublin and conveniently located a 10 minute walk from Lahinch town centre. The owner, who lives right next door, is friendly without being imposing. The breakfast room is clean (as is the whole house) and bright with a buffet table laid with fruit, yoghurt and cereal, which is provided...

Owners dont live on site so if you need anything after they leave in the morning your on your own. Average B&B. Have stayed in better. If your going out for a few beers in the evening you'll need flat shoes and a flash light or a Taxi. Dark country road a good 15/20 walk from the town/beech. No Tea/Coffee...

Jim Foley is an excellent host with a wonderful guest house. The rooms are very comfortable, all en suite. Fabulous breakfast with great choice beyond the "Full Irish", although that is good too. Lots of fresh fruit, scones and brown bread. A short walk to the center of town and the Championship Links. Jim is also very good at arranging...

My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights in June and have nothing but good things to say about the place! Everything was very clean and the breakfast was great. Location was nice with only a short walk to town. We would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area

We have just returned from a long weekend break in Lahinch, Co. Clare....and funny enough we had a heat wave... yes, a heat wave in Ireland! The resort of Lahinch would not be a favourite of mine with just a rockie beach and a main street which is not as quaint and picturesque as one might expect of a visit...

Having stayed recently in Doug Mor Lodge with my family, I want to complement owner, Jim, and his helper, Bernie for the hospitality we recieved. The rooms were spacious, warm and spotlessly clean. We were greeted the following morning by Sunday papers and a beautiful breakfast (homemade scones and jams). The Lodge is within walking distance of the centre of...

I can't say enough about Jim and his hospitality! As noted by others the B&B is extremely clean and the breakfast hearty and delicious. We liked the location as it is a nice walk into town. (feels good to stretch the legs after driving so much.) The Dough Mor has a lovely sitting room when you feel like reading a...

I stayed here with my partner in July 2008. Good points: The house is lovely. I's near the town and you could walk it in the daytime. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was nice. Bad points: Walking at night time along the road can be dangerous as part of the road has no footpath. It was impossible to...
