Nice place. Quiet and close to the town centre. Rooms were clean and had what was needed. Used for 4 guys who came down to golf. Personally I didn't like the beds. Uncomfortable and pillows were extremely thin, rendering them useless. However, we got what we paid for on reflection of the price.

Very disappointing stay in Lahinch. We were greeted by a hostile lady who lay down the ground rules straight away when we arrived leaving us feeling like we were in a strict hostel being told what to do and when to do it. I was staying with my family of four, my mom my dad and my brother. The bedroom...

I have stayed here twice, and both times I felt something was missing. To start, there is not such a welcoming vibe. I did not find them particularly friendly, and I don't mean I expect people to be jump up in your face friendly but it would be nice to feel acknowledged. I feel that it is way over priced...

We came down as a group of 16 for the weekend. They gave us a room of 12 for 10 boys and a room of 10 for 6 girls which was perfect and spacious. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was perfect. Plenty of hot water for showers after surfing. The staff were so friendly and helpful for anything...

Had a great welcoming stay here. Slept like a baby on super comfortable bed with egyptian cotton sheets. Showers were hot, wifi in room was really good (for the west coast!). Best of all is the breakfast which includes a range of cereals, teas, and fresh irish bread. Bonus: the owner is an amazing guitarist.

This place could be nice. The manner in which you are greeted at the door is fairly dog rough. While in the shower the water wasn't going down the plug hole and was going to over flow out on to the floor, had to get out of the shower and fashion a hook from a clothes hanger and drag out...

We booked into the lodge for New Years Eve. To my understanding, the guesthouse was closed prior to this. Upon arrival, there was no heat turned on in our bedroom (December in Lahinch is quite cold). When enquiring about this, we were told "yes, so-and-so was supposed to look at that. Hopefully it will be fixed when you return".... Yes,...

Had a great weekend away here with my college kayaking club! The hostel is in a great place, just 2 minutes from the beach and centre of town. The rooms were great with a range from small 4 person rooms to big 12 person bunk-rooms! The staff were very helpful and always friendly, especially Tina! The facilities were great and...

Stayed in The West Coast Lodge as part of a college kayak trip to Lahinch. We were shocked by the outstanding friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff especially Tina. The guest house itself was beautiful with a lovely design and more than all the amenities needed. The continental breakfast was amazing and we were always greeted with a smile!...

The location right in town, just a minute away from the beach and pubs is a big plus. Stayed for the second time to surf Lahinch and enjoyed it again. Rooms ensuite with power showers, everything clean, too. Breakfast is fine incl a choice of cereal and toast, all in all great value.
