This was our first and perhaps best B&B experience during our 11-day trip. Grainne was very welcoming and each day began with a tasty and hardy breakfast. Our room was comfortable and we had views of the Shannon River and garden. For dinner, Grainne recommended Flynn's pub where we met local folks and enjoyed two good meals. We had trouble...

After enjoying the Harbour Master's so much last year, my Husband and I have just returned there for our 2nd wedding anniversary and what another fantastic stay. Grainne and Jim are such friendly hosts and go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. We enjoyed plenty of fishing on the River Shannon which is on your doorstep...

We stayed here on a cycling tour in Ireland, having spent two days cycling from Dublin along the towpath of the Grand Canal (which is itself a highly recommended activity!). It's a very interesting place to say, and the owner is the daughter of the last harbour master. The room was well furnished and comfortable, breakfast was great, and Grainne...

I could easily have stayed a week in this peaceful quite place. There are about 30 people who live in this town, and all are wonderfully friendly. Breakfast was made to order and plentiful. Our room was immaculate, bathroom was in great shape and we had a view of the harbour and the ships docked there. The house has been...

The owners Grainne & Jim made it really special, even down to a candle in each of our tomatoes for brekkie on the day of our anniversary!! The setting is gorgeous and out-of-the-way, but near enough to some wonderful sights to be convenient. Grainne was a great hostess and it was the best breakfast we had in all of Ireland! Shannon Harbour is a beautiful village and this B&B was excellent.

A beautiful house and nice rooms. The owner was relatively friendly & it was nice sitting by the harbor at sunset. The only issue is that the twin room had a shower that was not closed off except for a shower curtain which meant that me & my travel companion had to take turns leaving the room so we could...
