Good question. Their spa set up requires bookings etc, so it would be an additional price. I thought the pool was freely available, but we didn't use it. May be best to check with the hotel to get the right info.

As a protocol and etiquette professional I will be visiting this area and looking at staying at the Castle Hotel and going to the Castle for the Dinner. I will be reviewing and hopefully recommending this hotel and the castle dinner to our international Protocol Association. I see that the comments range across the spectrum on this hotel (loved there website but would like to have seen a place for reviews - or I missed it), had to go to trip advisor for comments. I know some guest may have a minor problem that becomes a major issue when they write a review, so I try and keep an open mind, read between the lines and ask for honest feedback as if I was recommending to my grandmother. Would like some good recent feed back on the hotel, room, castle dinner, breakfast and things to do (sites, pubs, restaurants). Any suggestions greatly appreciated I do post after I stay at a location and give a very detail description and recommendation (good or bad)
