Beautiful hotel on wonderful grounds. We were treated like royalty - what a better way to spend our last night in Ireland. I love all the nooks and crannies one can find amidst all the comings and goings.

Great, legitimate castle hotel. Spent two nights at Cabra as a part of an Aerlingues package of castle hotels. This was one of the two - the other Adare Manor - that was exactly what I expected: a Real Castle - not one of those who took a burnt shell, a ruin, and built a brand new sympathetic hotel behind...

Had an amazing night staying in room 52 in the courtyard. Food in the courtyard restaurant was really great and breakfast was first class. Can't wait to go back .... Service in all areas of the hotel was perfect. No complaints at all

My wife and I stayed here on vacation in 2014 and were so impressed that we came back for our Wedding in 2015. We received fantastic service both times. Our wedding went off without any issues in large part to the help and cooperation that Cabra Castle's staff provided.Choosing them was one of the best decisions that we made while...

The setting is beautiful, but the rooms were awful and the service, if possible, was even worse. We stayed in the "cottage," which learned (after arriving) is really a dormitory. The internet pictures showed a lovely room. But it was dirty (there was dried feces on the toilet seat, scores of dead bugs in the bathroom and bedroom). Also, the...

This was a great 5-star hotel in Kingscourt. The hotel is huge and has a very cool driveway into the rooms in the back. They had a few huge Great Danes walking around the grounds that kept to themselves. The view of the grounds were breathtaking.

I believe the castle is lacking or has lost something I cannot put my finger into. Maybe because it has accommodated a lot of visitors/tourists that it has somewhat become commercialized. Also wasn't too impressed when my request for an upgrade or a transfer to a bigger room (if a stateroom is not available) was denied by one of the...
