I stayed here for one night as I had a wedding to attend in Kilkee. In my opinion this hotel is one of the most unappealing hotels I have every stayed in (I have stayed in many hotels). The building is very unattractive inside and out and is quaint. Very small and there is a dirty feel to it when...

Stayed for one night passing through Co Clare. The room was freshly refurbished with a comfy bed, but lacked character - no pictures on the walls - and had a very small TV. Our window overlooked a derelict building to the side of the hotel, which though not the hotel's fault didn't enhance the experience. Enjoyed an excellent dinner in...

Stayed here one night while driving part of the Wild Atlantic Way. It is a good location really close to the beach. The town is really quiet so we ate at the restaurant and the food was good and there was a nice ambiance. We booked three months prior and requested a high room with a sea view if possible...

Kilkee is a quaint seaside town overlooking a beautiful horseshoe bay. The Stella Maris Hotel is a Victorian centerpiece just a block off the main strand. The hotel has lots of glass windows and glassed in porches at the lobby, a great bar along the street, and cozy rooms upstairs. I can't imagine asking for anything more. We had dinner...

I can only write something about a restaurant. Dinner was very tasty, portions even too large and everything ok overall, however we had to request waitress to give us a napkins what is quite unusual in places like this.

We arrived to Kilkee late Friday , and were told by our hotel (not Stella Maris) that the only food we were likely to get was chipper - thankfully they were mistaken - we walked to town and at 9:20 put our head into Stella Maris on the off chance they were still serving food "of course, no problem" was...

We stayed here for 1 night for a wedding in July 2016. The hotel is lovely with nice, modernly decorated rooms. We were going to be out late so they gave us a key to the front door to let ourselves back in which was very helpful. We were travelling from Qatar and I contacted the hotel ahead of our...

The Stella Maris is a historic building very close to to beach. We had a side view from our room. We had made a mistake and booked the wrong night but they kindly accommodated us and changed the booking without a fuss. The room was bright and spacious with a comfy bed but there were signs of wear and tear...

Visited Kilkee earlier in the year with our newborn baby for lunch. New to parenthood and was delighted with the baby changing facilities available! Had a beautiful fresh cod lunch which really was top class! Great to see seaside hotels/restaurants serving good fish! I'll call again if ever in the area again

We were a large family group of about 20 people and had booked a table in the restaurant part of the hotel. The staff were very attentive and dealt with our orders very quickly. The food was very good and I had fish which was done to perfection. There was no complaints from any of the group with regards to...
