Stayed here for three nights with Philip and Mary Murphy and they are great hosts! Very well maintained and presented property with a lounge available for guests. Toiletries are in place and fair sized toilets. Very near Ballyvaughan but away from the main road. Great views of the Burren country from here and a large farmland adjoining it. Great value...

We stayed at Dolmen Lodge for three nights and it was the most rewarding experience. Situated in a quiet part of the beautiful Burren in co Clare, we got a warm welcome, great information and advice from Mary and Philip, super breakfasts and our room was large, comfortable, well-equipped and spotless. It was so peaceful at night, just what we...

We arrived late because we were sightseeing in the area during a sunny day. Another couple also "arrived late" just before us for the same reason. A few minutes after we arrived at a restaurant in Ballyvaughan (1km), we saw the owner and her husband in the same restaurant. The next morning, we were told that breakfast was served between...

Dolmen lodge is off the N but the signs guide you in. The setting is spectacular. The surrounding garden is lush. The views extend to the burden hills and the bay. The Fantastic walk is at hand. Our room was upstairs under a sloping ceiling and the bathroom was tiny. However, the bed was very comfortable and the room was...

This B&B was a treat. It is nestled in The Burren with amazing views. The gardens with stone sculptures around the inn were incredible. Our hostess, Mary, was warm and welcoming in this clean and modern home. Very enjoyable with a spectacular breakfast served in a room with outstanding views.

We loved this B&B, the rooms were spacious and charmingly furnished, clean and bright. Million-dollar views out every window — the Burren or Galway Bay. Proximity to village loop hiking trail is a real plus and one of the reasons we initially stopped here, but found the entire package so delightful we stayed longer. Ballyvaughan is one of the nicest...

This B&B has an impressive location - with beautiful views of the burren landscape and down to the bay. The room/bathroom, although clean, wasn't the most spacious but it fulfilled our needs. The shower in the bath (room 4) isn't suited for anyone over 1.70m as it is in the eaves of the house and you wouldn't be able to...
