The B&B owners are very nice - they helped drive us to a local bus station when we were about to miss it. They checked us in early when we arrived fresh off the plane needing a nap. Make sure to directly book with them and it will save you a bit.

Michael and Ann are the ultimate host and hostess. Beautiful property, the kindest of people - and very near by walk into town for a pint at the local pub. The best of the everything. We were traveling with friends fro Scotland and U.K. and had a great time.

Oranhill Lodge pitches above the average establishment, offering larger rooms, better amenities (like excellent bedding) and a more genuine engagement with guests. We arrived in Galway suffering from sleep deprivation, resulting from sleeping on a 20-30 year old mattress at the previous B&B. In contrast, Oranhill Lodge was an oasis. Breakfast was first class and we received great advice about... More

The accommodation was very nice and modest. We were greeted immediately and given advice about the local area. We only stayed one night. The immediate area was very nice and a good little Norman fortification was a short walk. We also walked to a very nice pub a few blocks away. At a nearby restaurant had a good meal. While... More

Ann and Michael were lovely hosts as was their daughter Ciara. My husband, myself and our 14 yr old son had a lovely, very clean room! We stayed there our first two nights on the Emerald Isle. We were able to visit the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara and of course Galway, a 10 minute easy ride. Our first ride into... More

Nice b&b, the hosts are really nice, willing to help, give directions, advice about trips, things to do around town. We loved the place, and would go back to visit! Great brekfast included in the price, loved the Irish Oatmeal!

My wife and I spent three nights with Ann and Michael in September. They are wonderful hosts and offer a warm home environment for guests. The guitar in the guest lounge was a great touch having not played for over a week during our trip. Michael and Ann went out of their to help my wife find a local doctor... More

My mom and I stayed here for 1 night while exploring the Galway area. Owners were incredibly friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of the area. They were very helpful with directions as well! Highly recommend a stay here - very clean rooms, everything worked and perfect location! Also, breakfast was delicious!
