The Hospitality from the owners was fantastic and we were really made feel at home with our double room and bathroom facilities/Have a very enjoyable breakfast/Not too early and not too late and make yourself at home in the Residents Lounge with a cup of tea and the television. /Two minute walk... Despite there being a multitude of B&B's in and around Galway, we chose to find one just outside of the city area. Avondale B&B is just south of Galway and just outside of the village of Oranmore. Whilst on a mildly busy road, whereby we had a front room, the traffic noise was tolerable due to double glazing on the... More

Our room was fine, had all the basics. Clean and tidy. Bed was hard, and the shower was tiny, with almost no water pressure. Hostess was helpful with advice on local pubs, and made us a cooked breakfast to order.

Dolores was incredibly nice, helpful, and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure we didn't need anything, and even offered to cook an early breakfast for us when we had a tour one morning! The rooms were nice, very clean, with clean towels and sheets daily. The shower water pressure was amazing, as well. B&B is close... More

Close to so many places. It was a good place to stay for a few days while we toured the area. Easy to find. Very clean and comfortable. Noleen was nice and helpful in recommending places to see or eat. All the rooms are up stairs and the whole house was decorated nicely.

Overall theres little to complain about with regards to this B&B. We were a little dissappointed not o be offered a cup of tea on arrival. The service was business-like but maybe a bit too much so! Maybe we have come to expect too much, but in Post-Celtic Tiger Ireland we have found that B&B's have generally upped their service... More

My friends and I stayed overnight. Check in was fast and friendly! We were given a choice of the room we wanted. The room was very nice! It had a queen size bed, a couch, a big TV with cable connection, a refrigerator and a big bath room! and even the car park was available. The overral experience was wonderful,... More

Stayed here two nights, didn't book in advance, drove by and went in. Nice house, very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated, front bedroom. Nice garden. Good hairdryer and good shower. Nice, quiet and very polite landlady with cute little friendly doggie (she was very careful that he wouldn't intrude). She let us use her private computer for emails. Nice breakfast... More
