We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has alot to offer. The rooms are nice but nothing spectacular. The food was excellent - breakfast and dinner. The staff were very helpful and friendly except one guy at the front desk. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

From the moment I spoke to Sandra on the phone I knew this would be a winner. She was so friendly yet very professional. I said I was celebrating a Birthday and visiting our daughter so I booked a night for us including a three course dinner and one night for my daughter and her boyfriend to celebrate her new... More

I wonder is it just me that looks forward to opening the door of a hotel room that you have never stayed in before to see what's lurking on the other side, People will often say that all hotels are the same but I tend to disagree.. I have stayed in some beautiful hotels and some lets say "horrors" in... More

A group of friends decided to visit lounge here for late lunch, we sat for 20 mins at a dirty table in a not busy lounge area before we were acknowledged, supervisor had to tell a staff member to stop clearing a dirty table with no guests at it and instead clear the table with guests waiting at ! We stayed for one night and it was a dear but average experience. The fancy castle might be idyllic to American tourists but the real castle feel stops when your eyes see the extension to the building. It is not a real castle with a 'royal feel to it' any more. The bathroom was clean and nice, the bed comfortable... More

The staff here was really helpful as far as giving us advice about taking the trains into Dublin and local sights to see. Room was comfortable but obviously it was a (much) older hotel. Was a little challenging crossing the foyer and dining area to get to the door behind the piano area to get to the actual hotel rooms.... More

Beautiful hotel and the surrounding area is just beautiful. to go for a lovely walk with so many beautiful houses and scenery to look at any time of the year. Food fab and the hotel tends to be very busy in the Restaurant because of its popularity. The Staff very helpful and very friendly. Some of the rooms are really... More

We got a deal via Groupon for an overnight stay with B&B and a 2 course evening meal. Having never stayed somewhere like this before I had high expectations and was not let down. When checking in we found that we'd been allocated a room in the old part of the hotel. The size of the room was huge and... More

We stayed only for one night, but the room was very clean and comfortable! The gym is very well equipped, and breakfast is well worth the extra euros. Plus- you get to feel like royalty in a castle!!!

Over to Dalkie for a few days and stayed at "the Castle" . Set in its own parkland the hotel is a mis match old and new. The hotel itself has a seventies feel (decor wise).
