The hotel is situated nicely for walking around town, and the Rock of Cashel is an easy (slightly) uphill walk (and beautifully lit up at night). Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant/pub downstairs and had a good meal with a drink at the small bar

I agree the staff was wonderful here. I didn't see any pets, but that's not to say the don't allow them. There isn't any greenspace close to the hotel for taking the dog out however.

We were travelling with a Cycling Team and used the local laundromat for their gear. You should know the laundromats do not open late and close around 5:00 or 6:00 pm. If there is a real need, Baileys may be able to accommodate requests but will first refer you to the local services.
