I stayed at the Brighton House during the National Coursing Meeting. Pat, the host, could not have been more accommodating, especially as I arrived at the last minute. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were especially terrific - I'd never had white pudding before! I look forward to returning next year! I heartily recommend staying here.

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting friends and family in Clonmel. Lovely big room comfy bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Big cooked breakfast cereal and juice. If you want peace and quiet it's a great place to stay. The owners are lovely.

We stayed at this wonderful old house for just one night as we passed through the area but were made to feel like old friends... Bernie and Pat made us so very welcome. The room was large and bright so plenty of room for the three of us and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was just what we needed.... We...

The brighten guesthouse is a very friendly B&B. The bed rooms are large with comfortable beds and ensuite. View from window was to the car park and the street but it's not of the matter as there is nothing to see around the guesthouse besides a dunnes store and other houses. It has a great distance to the city center...

A great place to stay, close to Clonmel town, this was our second visit, very clean and very good food. A friendly welcome awaits, our bedroom was serviced every day, towels in the en-suite changed. Pat and Bernie really work hard to ensure the stay is to a high standard. This property is well worth looking at if you are...

On my way to the Dingle Food Festival, I stopped at Brighton House for the night. It is a lovely, nearly 200 year old house, decorated in mostly period pieces. Lighting and bathroom fixtures have been updated, as well as having a flat-screen TV on the wall. Having read the two bad reviews, I must tell you that if you're...

What an amazing place to stay. The house is almost 200-years-old and if you love old buildings and architecture you'll love Brighton House. Our room was very large and the furniture was all in keeping with the age of the building and the décor. The house was very clean, the bed comfortable and the en-suite was large. There is a...

I stayed with 2 other adults on the top floor. The beds were VERY comfortable and the breakfast was awesome. The owners are just fantastic people recommending sites, taxi service and stores in the area. I loved this historic building and plan to be back again in 2015.

We had a wonderful stay here as part of our trip around Ireland. Our room was large, quiet and very comfortable with the only problem being a slight "old building" aroma which is probably to be expected in a 200 year old house. Pat was a wonderful host and his breakfast was excellent. Great value!

Stayed with wife and two friends in a single triple room. Room was comfortable although carrying our bags up the stairs was a bit of a pain. Very high ceilings improve the impression. The premises are in good shape, although some of the bathroom fixtures need adjusting - nothing unhygienic, just a loose faucet and a tricky flushing handle. The...
