Shannonside House is a first class B & B: It's tidy, clean, private, peaceful and the food is good. It's in a quiet area and the proprietors are friendly and welcoming. As one who often stays in Hotels my experience of Shannonside House was such that I could be enticed in the future to consider this kind of accommodation.

Weather was terrible but place was friendly and hospitable. Cracking breakfast. Really clean and warm. Look out for the letter in the dining room which is framed ,from the builders of the house in the 1930's. nice touch. X

The only good thing about this B&B was its location. Within walking distance from everything in the town. Owner (female) not friendly whatsoever. Rather rude. Stark difference from every other local we met so her demeanor really stood out. Room was very small. Bathroom door hit the bed. Breakfast wasn't so great. Worst coffee of the 2 weeks we spent...

Ample parking. Fast and reliable Wifi. Warm, very clean ensuite room. Excellent breakfast - including gluten free cereal. Welcoming and obliging hosts. Inquired if I needed an iron and immediately produced one (plus ironing board and also a required scissors).

Beautiful house, so clean and warm. The owners very kind and accommodating. Great service and care. Felt at home and will definitely go back everytime I am in the area. I became unwell on my second night and Linda the owner was so helpful and caring towards me. I could not have been better looked after. What more could you...

Lovely b&b on the edge of town. Had booked 2 rooms for our group and was a great price and breakfast in the morning was lovely. Only suggestion would b to offer more than 1 key per room especially for treble rooms
