Comfortable quiet room with all essentials in this large character building which accommodates a lot of tour groups. The public areas meet the needs of this clientelle and therefore a tad impersonal for the individual traveller. Nevertheless it met my needs and I would go back.

Last minute decision to take off to see Cliffs of Moher & found the Hydro hotel well priced for a party of five. A traditional hotel & spotlessly clean. Had planned on eating in hotel but food was only served in restaurant from 7 to 7.30 which didn't suit so we went up the road to avail of some pub... More

Nice hotel and lovely friendly staff. Central location for exploring The Burren, Cliffs of Moher etc. Nice breakfast but choice was limited. No buffet available and no fresh fruit or yogurt. Very limited choice of bread..

The place is nice -old but nice - nice atmosphere. The rooma are O.K. the food is nice and so is the service. But bear in mind that one section does not have an elevator and it is not easy for old people to climb to the rooms. Wifi works only very close to the reception.

We stayed in The Hydro Hotel on July 9th (2 adults and 2 teenagers) as a base to visit the Cliffs of Moher and we enjoyed the unique old style of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable with a double and single bed in each room. Only small gripe I would have is technology doesn't have to be old style... More

I stayed at the Hydro Hotel for business for 2 nights. The hotel location in Lisdoonvarna is on the Main Street, which is great as all the shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, as soon as you walk in it feels like your in a European Hotel, which... More

We stayed here for one night in June on route to Clifden. We got a very good rate for a Thursday night. The hotel is in a great location a short walk to the main street and surrounding bars & restaurants. We arrived late evening and were checked in promptly. Our room was huge and had all we required.
